Hello everypony (anypony is probably a better choice of word though XD)
Alright guys, just a bit of news!
I had some family things to take care of, nothing bad, just took up a lot of time. Anyway, it delayed my writing on the next chapter, but I am happy to say we are halfway there now.
The chapter is over 4.000 words long now, which means when it releases, the story will be over 90.000 words long, and well on its way to be my first story that passes 100.000 words!
so yes, just wanted to keep you guys in the loop! Happy Monday!
Progress blog for the new readers of Spike Hates Himself (SHH [feels like I'm silencing a crowd with this acronym]). Going through the next release of the story right now, and will have my other pair of eyes TheWraithWriter on the case whenever he's available. Next chapter is hovering around 5,100 words written on and off. I'm also separating this chapter into a two-parter, mostly because the chapter is establishing another mini story within it, just as a slight tease if I ever decided
I'm still on with blogging about this story, I know. Just a bit longer and I'll post it.
Now sitting at over 46 thousand words and being subjected to numerous rewrites, I imagine anyone who's been following my blogs just assumed it was another thing I talked about doing and just never did.
But it is done.
Hey folks, Tact here for the Nth time. So, there's a reason why I kinda dropped off of the face of the Earth, for both my FanFiction and FiMFiction accounts; I moved!
Ya boi is moving on up in the world and he's happy. Internetless, but happy! Eventually, when I can stable myself enough, I'll be back and with a passion. Until then, I—wow, this almost hurts saying:
I've noticed that a lot of my stories currently in the works involve guards, or guard-like characters. I'm starting to think I may have a type. Or possibly a problem. Nevertheless! They are what they are. Rest assured, though, I do have more than just guard-pony stories.
I'm finally figuring out how to make these chapters more readable and easy to understand.
Hey, everyone.
Wow, you know, it's been a while, and I'm not even going to look to see how long it's been since I've last published a chapter. However, I've been starting to write again despite how hard it's been. By that, I mean I'm still making a lot of mistakes, and Grammarly is working overtime, underlining all my fuckups.
What's up, my fellow paladins?
....It's been a month. I am so sorry guys. So, I have come up with a system that might make me finish this faster. So. I wanna get to know some good friends and stuff like that. Talk, have fun, get invited to do things and have to deny those things because I'm in Texas and y'all are probably in some other state billions of feet away from my location. I want that to happen. SO. Getting to the point. I wanna make some friends on here and more amongst the brony community or pony fan community. If
Good morning, all!
I wanted to take a moment to fill you guys in on my current and upcoming story projects. (Listed loosely in order of priority)
Pony War Academy: Chapter 3 (Ongoing series)
Orientation continues at the Pony War Academy. From the perspective of Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy.
This will likely be a large story when it's finally finished, spanning many years both in story and real life.
I think I'm going to start doing these monthly. Keep myself accountable, and all that. I'm currently averaging about a chapter a week:
As I feared frankly expected, the chapters are still being split for length, so it's getting kind of hefty and we're looking to shoot for the 200k mark. I'm sure they'll get edited down a bit in rewrites, but probably not to the point where I can condense them back into singular chapters.
Another blog post. I was writing more TER today, and I just finished yet another chapter. I managed to get it at 1.2K words without thinking about it, and it was a very short event that happened. It began getting juicy, and I am beginning to cry.
Life is funky. Truly, it can smell funky, sound funky, look funky, and is generally just strange... and funky.
I put Tidal Flows on hiatus years ago, and I never really paid much attention to Fimfiction - too wrapped up in my own boring business of life. However, I want to turn a new leaf, put my best hoof forward, and try my best to keep things updated.
So, here is the updatesies!
Whew, that month went by fast, and boy, was it busy! A lot of things happened this month, and there are a lot of things in store, so below the break, get my monthly progress report on all things story related plus details on what's about to go down, as well as a few surprises!
At BronyCon 2017, ROB brought a bunch of typewriters to Quills and Sofas. I cosplayed as Moondancer on Saturday, and was inspired to write a Moondancer flashfic as Moondancer.
Yes, her horn has a working fidget spinner on it.
So!
There has been a lot of support for Fallen Knight, which is just awesome. And I have gotten into a big Star Wars mood, so right now there is a lot of writing going on. I'm happy to say the next chapter is well on it's way! I will be updating this blog showing the progress of the chapter, so if you wanna see how far it has come, feel free to check it out!
Fallen Knight Chapter 11: 100% Complete and posted
With now three full chapters written and a fourth starting production shortly, 20k words are already down on the side story in under two weeks. My muse has grabbed hold of this thing and will not let go. What sucks is that I have to wait to release the ready chapters until I've got the entire story arc written (6-8 chapters?) and then write the next chapter of the regular Feathered Hearts story to link to it.
Here's my biannual blog post! Joking aside, a lot has happened IRL and I don't have too much time tonight for a big blog, but let me share some updates!
