It's been three years. Three years since I said "Hey, lets do a clop fic that was also a deconstruction of a bad fic." And then I posted it.
I couldn't be happier.
A little over a year, actually. I missed the exact date because of course I did. I don’t think very many people know this, but my first story on this site, Peephole, was my first story of any kind ever. I did it as a meme because I didn’t see anyone else with a story that had the punchline I wanted to use. And considering how many one-liner Anon shitfics there are, that was a surprise to me. Most of those stories (Peephole included) are 95% fluff written solely for setting up the punchline. I
So today, Saturday September 26th, 2020, marks 5 years since the 3rd entry in the Equestria Girls Franchise first aired on Discovery Family:

And with it brought 6 new characters that would of course be fan favorites in the MLP Fanbase.
It's been an interesting year. 60,000 words published, not bad numbers, but I wish I could have done more. We are still stuck on the first arch, but I think the story has really evolved.

Hello everypony, sorry for the absence of blogs or anything...just was busy for a while but...
Never made a blog on this site in years, but what better way than to make about an anniversary? This is going to be a little bit of a mess since emotions are running on high. So fair warning I guess?
Today marks the tenth anniversary of me creating my account here on FIMFiction. It feels incredibly surreal to type that out. Sometimes it almost feels like yesterday when I was a bright-eyed Brony entering the world of MLP fanfiction for the first time. And sometimes it feels like another lifetime ago.
Well... there you go, chapter 7. I never thought it would take this long, I honestly thought it was going to be the I'd have the most fun with, but nearly a year since the last chapter.
Chapter 8, while seems very simple, is something I won't be able to touch upon for a while. Not only do I still need to find a job, I need to prepare myself for birthday week (3 birthdays in a span of a week).
Three years ago today, my second-dad figure passed away in hospital after entering with liver failure. Sadly, I found out two days later while at my gf's grandmother's house, which hurt considerably more given that I wasn't in the country at the time, despite my protests, and was forced to miss the funeral.
I can't leave this fandom alone for five minutes can I?
July 31st through August 8th marks the 70th Anniversary of the US Navy's worst disaster at sea, the loss of the Portland Class Heavy Cruiser USS Indianapolis and the rescue of the 315 survivors,
The sinking would claim another victim years later, in the form of Captain Charles McVay. He would receive letters from families of the lost sailors saying things like "We had a wonderful holiday. If only our son was alive to enjoy it with us"
I hadn't noticed, but two days ago was my first FiMFiction anniversary. So, what did I accomplish in this whole year I've been here?
That's right, today is the day Long Live the Queen's first chapter was published. It has been a long year, and I've written a lot of pony words, but I have had fun with it! I just want to thank all of you wonderful readers for sticking with me even though my updates are erratic (school and work and homework just have made it hard to write for fun! 
) The good news though is, once Spring semester is over this next year I AM DONE! Which means hopefully more time to write!
So, on this day in 2016, I was feeling kinda sorry for myself. I had just turned 50, and I was thinking of how few years I had left and how many things I had left undone. I began thinking of a promise I had made to myself back in my 20's. Of how I would be an author in my 50's and write stories that folks would enjoy. It started to make me even sadder, but then I realized I've been telling stories all my life.
