So, yeah! Carnivore went over just awesomely, didn’t it? Didn’t it?! But, yeah, I can’t really blame everyone. After taking a step back and looking it over, I realized that the story really isn’t that good. It’s a bit disjointed, doesn’t mesh well, it’s pacing is shot and the characters are all, well . . . out of character. Especially Derpy and Rainbow. Neither really acts like themselves in it.
As it stands, I have not posted a new chapter since November.
This bothers me.
Expect a new chapter in the next week or two, for both Book and Blade, as well as Innocent Monster.
No, I haven't forgotten my promise. It's happening.
My goal for the next year is to get at least one chapter for each story per month. Doesn't seem like a lot, but its my goal. If I do get more chapters up, yay!
Hello all. Newest part to In Harmony's Wake is now up. I'm going to try to generally upload these around 4:30 PM GMT, or about 12:30 PM on the U.S. East Coast, and 9:30 AM on the U.S. West Coast. Generally, anyway, as some mornings it may come earlier. But I have the next several parts already fully prepared to hit a simple publish button.
... Sort of. I'm not exactly out of hiatus yet, but in the meantime I will be taking down "Dizzy for Izzy" for some major editing...mainly in terms of the flow of the story, minor narrative adjustments, the works.

Working on the second chapter of Her Majesty's Hidden Swords, not much left to go before I complete it. After that I'll keep plugging away at it until FiM ends, because I've got something real to show y'all.
Heeeeey. I don't do these blogs often, but I just wanted to unload some things that happened recently. Some good, some bad. But let's start with the positive, okay? I published a new story last week! The idea that has been bouncing around in my head for years has finally been put to paper, and the first three chapters are up and waiting to be read.
When a mysterious pony crashes in the Everfree, Summer Star finds herself with the opportunity to fulfill her dreams of exploring the depths of space. However, the small matter of disappearing stars might be a more pressing issue.
Chapter four is coming along nicely after a much-needed rewrite. I will likely release it to the public soon, without edits to move the story along. It seems I require new editors since my last one became too busy to help me (if you're reading this, I'm not mad, nor am I trying to call you out lmao). But, Shadow of Equestria is once again looking for an editor to enhance the chapter(s).
So yeah, I went ahead and posted the first chapter of that terribly self indulgent fanfic I told you about. Because, well, I'm terribly self indulgent.
I thought about finishing the whole thing and posting it on Halloween itself, buuuuut, eh. Again, self indulgent. And spacing the chapters out gets more comments and views and such. Game the system, man.
So yeah. My goal is to have it finished by Halloween. Should be fairly short, but still. Something's better than nothing, no?
