So, to anyone who's been following the steady flow of garbage I've been writing, you're probably aware I've been active in the Quills and Sofas Speedwriting Group over the last few months.
I'm feeling a little lazy right now, so sadly, no review for today...
That, and I've found this really great series that starts with The Celestia Code. It's amazing. If you don't believe me, then look at the ratio of likes/ dislikes: 2032 vs 40.
Now season 8 is over and done with, I think we can say it wasn't one of the stronger seasons. A handful of great episodes, but only one that really stands up alongside the best of the other seasons. So I wasn't in much hurry to get this second half blog written, and I've only rewatched one of the episodes since it aired, so some may be fading a bit from my memory.
A Matter of Principals
Noted reviewer PresentPerfect offered up some of his time to share his thoughts on something of mine again - this time it's Mrs. Robinson's Stand. If you'd like, you can find it here.
Thanks again, glad you had a good time!
So I'm back, all sobered up and ready to get this clankety pony train rolling once more. I was gonna do more of an intro and maybe put up a snazzy title caption, but I had just watched the first forty seconds of the first episode and I have a more befitting title/reaction to kick things off, so here goes. *Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeep Breath*
Hello everypony,
PresentPerfect was so gracious as to provide a recent review of Sugarcube in the Corner, as well as a nod to the audio presentation (my first attempt at an audio adaptation, in which I played all the parts). I'm no med student, but it's nice to know that research pays off in terms of increased enjoyment for the reader. I'm honored and appreciative
Okay, starting to gag with all the Friendship cooing
...But the goofiness can still make up for it.
Losing to win huh? even Mario Maker 2 levels have that (Kill yourself to win)
The goofiness is making up for it.
UGH!! Still saying "every-pony. But this time I CAN let it slide because I don't see Spike (Shame) or other creatures (Good)
Huh! It's like my Friendship is Failures are coming to life. (Less caring) but not quite.
Hey everybody.
I suppose this is aimed towards anyone who not only see's this, but also hasnt really gotten around to reading past the first intro chapters.
Chapter 2 and 3 have been cleaned up a little. Not a full rewrite, but hopefully enough to make for an actual readable experience lol.
Just in case any of you were interested :)
Okay, I’m a cute sort of guy. By that, I mean I’m willing to write cute little things. Just ask Strat, or anyone else who’s seen some of the one-shots I do. So, by that logic, I think I’d be perfect to review this particular story.
I'll spoiler the things to save the surprises, but be warned, ye who enter.
Right, right, so I should explain a few things first. First off, happy birthday to RuinQueenofOblivion. Love you sis.

Story Review #21: Embrace Your Demon —by EileenSaysHi
A reward for getting 3rd place in the Sunset x EG/MLP Villains “Bad Romance” contest!
Character’s:
Sunset Shimmer: You can really feel just how F’ed up this whole situation is and the hopelessness of her impending death followed by her possession. And despite its darker tone this story depicts Sunset in the most canon way it possibly can. Everything about it from her lines, emotions, to even her despair is very well executed.
Story Review #22: It’s Just Us —by Spyder27

Next on the train of movie write-ups... one of many controversial films by Martin Scorsese. "Taxi Driver."
(First watched July 26th, 2023.)
A friend of mine utterly hated this film. Having finally seen it for myself, I honestly kind of wonder if he and I watched the same movie.
All right. First up on the final batch of movie reviews for the year... the original "Dirty Harry."
(First watched July 7th, 2023.)
I'm glad to have seen this one, though I wouldn't say that I loved it. Liked it well enough, sure, and glad to have finally gotten context on it, but I didn't love it.
Wow. That was quite the season. I have a lot of overall thoughts to say, but since this is a season I haven't talked about before, I'm gonna save them for after the episode thoughts to maintain suspense. Episode thoughts are in the same format as the Season 3 ones, except I'm gonna be talking about every episode instead of just the ones I want to cover, cause I wanted to cover most of them anyways.
Uh so I actually finished my rewatch of the whole series a long time ago and was just lazy writing my thoughts on a couple episodes which delayed the whole posting so uhhhhhhh woops hopefully the Season 9 review is out in much less time. Anyways.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrreetings everypony, and welcome back to Deconstruction is Magic, my Retrospective/Review/Analysis of every episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is magic ever. Today, we have another fandom touchstone episode, Dragonshy! Without wasting any more time, let's get on with the analysis! I am the Mage of Mind, reminding you, as always, that even a cheeseburger can be deconstructed to its source.
