Artist is Saveraedae.
Artist is Saveraedae.
So you know how I had said I wouldn't be writing a sequel to "Grief is the Price We Pay?"
Well, I'd argue that is still the case, because in terms of continuity this is, technically, not a sequel.
A WARNING: The following blog post features many key SPOILERS for "Grief is the Price We Pay," and would SPOIL many major plot points of the fic. If you have not yet read the fic and wish to avoid these SPOILERS, turn back now!
AGAIN, there are major SPOILERS ahead! You have been warned!
So apparently even though I still have some mixed feelings about the fact that it of all stories was first to do so, "Overlooked" hitting the feature box seems to have worked to my favor, as it seems to expanded the number of readers likely to read my future works.
Is that only half of it is actual mowing; the other half is finding creative solutions to obnoxious problems, such as low-hanging tree branches, dog poo, bugs, dog poo, intense daytime heat/humidity, dog poo, unrealistic deadlines, and dog poo.
On that note, I'm not wearing my shoes indoors until I've put them through HAZMAT-level decontamination procedures.
Thought I’d get some work done for the Royal Guard and read a few pieces I’d been putting off reading for a long time.
Today’s stories:
The Birds and the Bees by Scantrel
All of It, For Her by Pav Feira
Ave Sonata by Majin Syeekoh
We Who With Songs Beguile by Loganberry
The Regular by Ruirik
Marsupials likely have questions.
I might have some answers.
So, without further ado...
1. Yes. It's back.
I'm not a nerd shirt person, haven't been since I was like 15 and I've got all my Christmas shopping done. So naturally Discworld Emporium plonks this down in my inbox.
AND I JUST WISH
I COULD TELEPORT ALL OF YOU TO MY HOUSE
AND WE COULD WATCH PONIES
AND EAT FOOD

AND IT WOULD BE WONDERFUL

The livestream is going on RIGHT NOW. Come stalk me as I write and chat with other creative writing fan friends https://picarto.tv/HailKingSombra .
*sigh* The best laid plans of ponies and TimeWitches don’t mean squat in this ponyverse sometimes. Knowing 75% of my most loyal stalker fanbase is 8 hours ahead of me, I fully intended to get this stupid heads-up notice out way earlier today…right BEFORE the hour and a half phone meeting with my website client.
Sorry for the delay on this one..... Something that gave new reason for depressions has risen earlier this week, which pushed back the release date a little more. Nonetheless, I buckled down today and finally finished my announced one-shot for Tempest Shadow to keep the delay short.

So far I am up to having worked on my current story, "King Sombra's New Sweater" for 5:00 hours on the nose and am at 4,464 words. My goal is to finish it up and publish before Xmas ends. Having peeps there on the chat cheering me on would really help that goal, so grab your eggnog and kick back on the computer after your own celebrations to help me get there and give me and my readers the best Christmas present a Sombra-obsessed fangirl could have - a new story to read of our favorite Umbrum
lmao can you believe i've been working on this for two years what the heck
ANYWAY YES, EL is two years old now so I made a sappy blogpost shhhh I'm putting it under the cut because there's SPOILERS, and I'd like to quickly mention that, if you haven't read Chapter 24 yet AND skipped the interlude, please go back and read the interlude because it's linked to the chapter.
