Here are my Afterthoughts for "The Break Up Break Down"! A little bit less than in other weeks, but there are still some interesting observations to be made:
I hate to do this, but, "The Sky is Gone" will go on a small, two day release break for the holidays, both here and on my Patreon. I still wanted to update" The Sky is Gone" on the Hearth's Warming holidays, because I relaunched my Patreon account only a few days ago and have only just started with the new reward tier, but I am suddenly feeling the last four days.
A lot of people I follow came out with new stories yesterday, and in the spirit of not procrastinating, I actually read them.
Today’s stories:
Breaking Peeved by Bad Horse
All Better Now by OCalhoun
Make It Better by Twinkletail
A Brief Glance at the Papers on Luna’s Desk by Chuckfinley
Peachy Pie and Misty Moon Keep the Realm Safe Until Dinnertime by Pascoite
As many of you probably know, "Legends of Equestria" is starting its Limited Access Release (aka closed beta test) on Monday. This will lead to my output being a little slower than you're used to.
I won't fall into another unannounced hiatus, don't worry! This is why I'm writing this blog entry, to inform you what's going on. It won't be much slower either, just a little.
It seems that fandom drama is not healthy for the writing spirit. Especially not if said drama has been started by an extremist cult leader on Twitter and his followers and if it endangers one of the most important bastions in our fandom and causes an unspeakable amount of pony art to disappear forever.
First of all, I apologize to anyone that has been disappointed by the fact that I have not uploaded a second chapter to Appledash: How it Would Happen. It feels kind of pompous to type this as if I'm addressing a large audience. I know I'm not really a popular writer on this site, but I am partially writing this for myself, and also, there are probably some people who would have liked to see a second chapter. And, I'm sorry to disappoint you, but it's probably going to be a while. To be
She says she holds sway over the moon and stars, and I don’t doubt it. Instead, I tell her of my affection for the night, and how I had hoped to meet whomever brought it about. She smiles and tells me that not many other ponies share my sentiment whilst glancing at the pearl mare beside her.
The pearl mare introduces herself and the other mare. Apparently, they are sisters. Sisters who control the heavens. Knowing my place, I bow to both, though lower to she of the night.
I'm sorry this announcement comes so late, but, I am currently on a short writing break. February has been a turbulent month, in both positive and negative ways. Some personal things that happened and needed to be worked out, many exciting analyses for Generation 5 I did (and more analyses will come, currently planning with the next five!), the shock over it that the Generation 5 show was suddenly revealed to be in full CGI rather than 2D animation (by the way, thank you for lying, Hasbro!) and
So, I released a new short story! This one is called The Long Death and is a Nightmare Moon focused story. I made this short little story as a little bit of an apology. As the story I mentioned at the end of my last blog post is taking a bit longer than expected to be finished. So, I hope you enjoy this story while I try and finish up the other bigger story I mentioned. Also I've begun writing When Gems Break chapter 4, so that should be coming out soon. And finally my schedule I
Changelings. They can turn into all sorts of ponies. I often wonder though why it is we never see them transform into anything else. I mean I think it would be hilarious to see one look like the last box of cereal on the shelf and when some kid goes to grab it it transforms last second into Flim who then tips his hat and slowly walks away.
Twilight: Thanks for meeting me here today for an interview. Fresh off publishing his new chapter of Twilight's Dollhouse 2 I'm sitting down with Kaidan for an exclusive one on one.
Kaidan: my pleasure
Twilight: So for our new readers who don't know who you are, why don't you introduce yourself.
So... I think I've finally broken through my stop on Chase the Wind... And I can't thank Sylvian enough for his invaluable assistance in this! Oddly enough, it only took a 15-minute brainstorm session Thursday night before both of us passed out to finally get me moving again...
