Hey readers! Max here with a quick news update for all of you! One that’s about to deliver some truth to the phrase “a picture is worth a thousand words.” Are you ready? Here you go!
[Fimfic doesn't support this feature, so you'll have to click over to the full post. Sorry!
I know many of you have been waiting for this moment to arrive. Last week, the writing was on the wall when you all got your first look at some bits of chapter 1 of Starforge, at long last giving you a peek a what our famed corporate investigator has been up to since the end of Jungle. And, of course, there was the sense of omnipresent dread that
I really need to make a new list of “assorting things to talk about” for these off days, but right now I spend so much writing time thinking about Starforge that doesn’t seem to be happening!
But hey, at least that means there are updates there to speak of. So, how is work coming along on Starforge?
I had to complete the series, after all
Oh hey guys, it's been a minute hasn't it?
I'm working now on the last three chapters and the book looks like it will make the deadline to be out for November.
I wanted to highlight some art pieces here but several I'm having to keep under wraps because they are a bit more spoilery than anything else.
Hello everyone! been a while since I last posted something here but I've been working on something in the background, namely, a physical edition of Data Lost! I've always wanted to have something I wrote in pshysical media and I'm proud enough of Data Lost that that's the one I chose to do it with.
Look at that, two for the price of one!
Hopefully, chapter 8 is coming Sunday.
Special thanks to Farrowe/Emily, our reader, and Otto VonSnootingham, our audio engineer.
...how many people would kill me if I pushed back the start of Book IV by a month?
I'm doing my damnedest to pull out all the stops for the art, and...well, let's just say doing the art for Rainbow and Twilight is hell (Rainbow that much more so.)
As it is, I'm running slightly behind on my schedule for AAG's next chapter because of it, as well as The Huntress and Protection.
Eh, we shall see.
I just finished reading the first book in a trilogy yesterday. Devices and Desires, Book 1 of the Engineer Trilogy by K. J. Parker. The first book was a little over 600 pages long. It's not uncommon for people to take pride in completing things that, in the grand scheme of things, don't really matter. Finishing a video game, a TV show season, a really long book. Why do we do that, I wonder? Why do we sometimes push ourselves to finish something frivolous, even if we're not really
Larson: We're supposed to read everything. Every show I've worked on, I made a conscious effort to read as much as I can, because it makes the process so much easier, and to avoid the aforementioned situations. Then you also have people like Gillian [G.M. Berrow] who knows everything. I've been in story meetings with her, where someone will propose an idea, and she will interrupt them, saying that that idea has been covered already. Despite the fact that she's only written one

This summary (if you can call it that) was written some time ago. Please forgive the many hiccups in prose.
Narcissism is the inability to deal with shame. Therefore, the cure to anyone possessing narcissistic traits is to cure the shame hidden behind them, which is a journey in of itself.
Another fic down the pipe and up for all who like to listen to me read it. Next up on the docket:
Hey! Long time no see everyone.
So I'm super excited to announce a few things. I'll go ahead and start with the most minor news.
1. If any of you know who Applety is (if not you should). I met her on the Rarijack discord server and she recently helped me unstick myself on both of my major projects. CSR and A Place That We Call Home are no longer causing me undo stress. So expect new chapters of those soon! (Hold me to that.)
