I was thinking of releasing the Prologue of 'The Ending Race'. Reason being is so you all get the feel of the story, and stay with me until it is completed! I am honestly not sure how many chapters the story will have.
The story was going to be a normal fanfic to steady myself but when I got the dream, I literally flipped the table.

I've went ahead and renamed the existing story to avoid confusion. The rewrite completely ditches the plot that the old story was following at the time, so I figured it'd probably be better to just post a new story instead and retire the old one.
I just thought i'd give you guys an update, as we close in on Christmas.
First of all, i've written down my Christmas wishlist, and my folks and I are close to done with the Christmas shopping we're able to do, considering the current conditions of the outside world.
I've recently had some stomach problems that i've needed to get over. They seem to be mild, though.
That's a wrap! As of today, September 6th, 2016, I will no longer be working on "Dear Friends". I have published the last two chapters of the fiction and I believe that with the last one wrapping up quite a bit, I believe there's enough backstory, and puzzle, for everyone to enjoy it. The last entry may be a bit graphic for more sensitive viewers, so keep that in mind! No, even though I planned a sequel while in the process of writing, there will not be any such thing. Sorry for no updates, as usual (at this point). I've been having some real life stuff happen. TL;DR is that my grandpa is basically nonfunctional from cancer, my grandmother is overworking herself to compensate, and I'm the glue keeping them from falling apart at the moment.
Here are a few updates concerning my fics.
Since Chapter 26 is already done and I don't really want to move on yet, I'm going to do a minor rewrite of my first few chapters. Basically, I'm going to beef them up a bit and make them suck less so more people actually want to continue reading, though I'm pretty much leaving the story as it is. IT's really just adding details and fixing spelling, formatting, and a few other things. Chapter 26 is going to be released some time later today, most likely around 7:30 EST, so keep an eye out for
And Chapter 1 is out! I've rewritten chapter 1 of She Wore A Yellow Ribbon, and this time I didn't delete the old chapters in case you want to see how terrible they were before. I will keep them there, even though I intend to vastly change the story, just for historical purposes. It's good to see where you've come from, I believe. I also really wish I didn't delete the Girl I Left Behind Me one.

I finally made progress on Behind Him chapter 7 again, yay! All I really need to do at this point is rearrange a few scenes and add to the last one or two scenes I haven't finished yet. After that is just editing.

So, a bit of background here.
Are these stories sequels? Spiritual sequels? No. But maybe they're like mirror images of each other. They each take an idea and run with it in different directions.
The rewrite of chapter "Unforgotten" is currently standing at roughly 2,600 words and counting, and I still don't consider it finished. This was originally supposed to be one of the final chapters of Part 2, providing plenty of new information to the readers to ease them into new conflicts in Part 3.
And I guess avoiding straight-up infodumping and instead writing it all into the story arc is just gonna balloon the chapter into the longest one yet in the Pony-Me universe.
