So Stegtorn has begun season 2 of his Horse la Horse story.
It follows Anonymous the human in a near dystopian Equestria as he engages in over the top situations, stylish combat, and bizarre social interactions with a load of references to garnish this dish. If you haven't read season 1, I recommend it. It's a lot of fun and when you're finished, go read season 2.

Now I know I said back then that this book would never be on hiatus, and in a way, it isn't. While Equestrian Downfall had been labeled as the "main series", the story it portrays is still being written, I'm just working on a different side of the project (Equestrian Bloodlines: Absolution). However! I do promise that I will return to Downfall as soon as Absolution has been completed. As of now, Absolution is nearing completion. The second chapter is over
While my big "flagship" story fan fiction thingymadoo hasn't even begun to come close to the point at which I can hype it with blogs, I still feel like my first one should be relevant to it. Specifically, the reason why I don't make much progress on it.

In my previous blog, I went over the Tails of Equestria RPG, its strengths and weaknesses. After doing some thinking, I've come up with a few... house rules that might help balance the system just a touch. Actually, let's call them horserules, just for pun.
Cover art for an author is important—for an Indie, more so. Critical. It sells your book. 
I downloaded DiffusionBee (an AI art program) and prompted it to generate 60s and 70s pulp paperback SF art. Things suddenly got bizarre. Yikes. I also wanted to test image-upload to Mastodon, so I created this test cover from one electronic fever dream.
Well as you may have noticed, I got ch 2 out for you all to read. Awesome right? Well..... I just realized that after I reach a specific scene/time frame I'm going to have to write up the other scenes that will need to connect up to the next person I'm going to jump to.... YAY for timelines and making them work first time around.
I know what you all are going to say, "Why don't you have this planned out already?"
I joined this site almost three years ago. I joined with one express purpose: I wanted to write.
I didn’t just want to write, I wanted to write. I wanted to write a story that everybody would read, to have someone look at a story written by Dashie04 and say, “She was a good writer.” I wanted to write stories that people would cite as primary influences in the way that someone would cite FO:E or Rainbow Factory as influences to their adventure or grimdark stories respectively.
It’s really been 2 months since I made a blogpost. This shit feels unprecedented and wrong somehow. Many things have happened since I got on HRT, but my work has been sucking my life out of me recently. They’ve scheduled me for 6-day weeks and most of the time I’m too tired to do anything (but I’ve told a manager so fingers crossed, and even if that doesn’t work out I still have my own plans that’ll guarantee me 2 days off a week). More stories coming soon hopefully, as I have done interesting
