I need help from someone with RPG Maker experience:
The Problem:
RPG Maker games will lag if there is a ton of images and/or events running at the same time. I have an event that calls up 26 images but then it immediately erases them from the screen. Yet, it still constantly lags even after a restart.
If you haven't noticed, then I've slowed down a lot with the story and it's mostly because I need a break from writing. I'm still doing A Bard's Tale on the side, and if you didn't know, then I've been uploading this story to Royal Road and doing rewrites for the later chapters as I post them. Between getting the earlier chapters done and getting the shit past Chapter Thirty rewritten, I can't really say I have time to spare on my weekends. That, and ya mans done got sick af and is still trying

Before we move on to the actual post, let me apologize for another month of silence. For those who followed my last couple of blog posts, recovery from the surgery was going well. But as luck would have me, I slipped on the shower and ripped all my stitches. That's why I had to stay in bed, to make sure that the internal stitches wouldn't come out otherwise they would have to cut me open again.

I have an announcement and it might annoy some people. Chapters 51-73, as in 'Fuck Me, and Not In The Nice Way' to 'The Dawn of Kaid Maximus' are all officially an 'IF' offshoot. I repeat, about 23 chapters are now and forever obsolete and noncanon. I thank you for your time, sausage, and views.
I'm just curious, because I may bring Tales of Turbo back on track.

I was sick and tired of reading a somewhat decent first chapter and then proceeding on to the crap cheese-fest that was chapter 2, so I finally got around to rewriting it. After all, if I'm not satisfied by reading it, then how can I expect my readers to be?
Wow, it took me a pretty long time on this one, as the scenes seemed to drag on, and I had some crazy real life crap get in the way that I'm sure you don't want to hear about. Either way, this chapter is done, leaving only chapter 7 for me to rewrite before arc 1 is finished! Though it's come to my attention that chapter 1 needs some adjustments to make it more in line with the Seth established in chapters 2-6. This one gave me a lot of trouble, as every little word seemed to resist me on its way out. Other times my motivation was at an all time low. For all of you guys following me, I finally got around to rewriting the first chapter. Basically, it's similar to what it was, but I went through and improved on the flow and the description, and made Seth into more of a well defined character instead of just a cursing mess. I also improved on the relationship between him and Amaryllis, such that his random declaration of love for her in chapter 2 doesn't seem...well, random.

That being said, I finally found 10 spare hours to write A Thief's Tale: The Summary slash Synopsis. There was just so much I had planned for the story that it was a bitch to get it all out. I realize that this shit was supposed to be a summary, but like, DAAAAMN I didn't expect the motherfucker to hit 10k. That might as well have been a damn chapter for the story!
