Haven’t had the time or inclination in advance of my sinus and nasal surgery tomorrow, trying to get everything squared away at work and at home for convalescing. I’ll be taking off at least through Tuesday next week, so hopefully I’ll be able to find some time to work on stuff while I’m stuck at home.
Well, today I went to the hospital to get two toenails surgically removed while I was sick with a cold that made me feel irradiated. My mom told me that the injection of lidocaine into my toes would ironically burn for a bit, and what she meant was it would actually fucking feel like my toe was on fire.
Then we spent two hours waiting for my post-op narcotics and antibiotics to be given to me, and then we spent forever driving home.
I’m back home after getting up at 4:45 for this and dragging my gym friend out of bed to drive me there and back. Took a little more than three hours after I walked in the hospital door. Little pain so far and no need for the crutches they gave me as I’m walking fine without them. That may change as the painkiller they gave at the time wears off, but so far, so good.
So it's been *checks watch* forever and a half eons since I last posted. If you're keeping up with my favorite's folder, then you know I'm still online a lot, but I've been kind of quiet and focused on other things. Some of you PM'd me asking what I had been up to, and I figured the rest of you might want to know.
Hello, everybody. Hope you all have been doing good lately, as I've been busy with writing and playing and such. This weekly blog is just to update what has been going on in the past week and boy oh boy have I got some interesting plans.
I know it's probably a long-shot, especially when it's apparently normal for pet owners to just help their pets cope with blindness instead, but here's hoping!
Two weeks have certainly gone by fast. I still can't believe it's already July. 
Time sure does fly by when you're at the age of eighteen and about ready to go to college. But I do digress.
Sorry to not keep readers updated, but I've found it hard to feel creative over the past week. You'll understand, it's a little difficult to be interested in writing, especially sexual stuff when you're recovering from knee surgery (or really any surgery), as your body devotes its energy to healing instead of to more pleasurable pursuits.

Clockwork2003 needs to have a cancerous tumor removed, and is frightened by the post-operative pain expected for the procedure that is ten days away. They also have a request related to the adorablecorn image here...
So, I guess it’s been a while since Christmas and my last blog post. Well, I do have good news for you. I am now employed at my local wellness center after a year and two months of unemployment. Not only that, I have updates in the works for multiple stories.
At the time of writing this blog post, it is the 2nd of April, at 9 o'clock in the morning.
I am in a hospital, sat alone in an empty room, while my husband Phoenix is undergoing surgery on the floor above me. He was so nervous, having never had surgery before, the poor lad has only had about 2 hours of sleep.
I couldn't be more proud of him for his bravery and his spirit.

Apologies for not checking in earlier as I promised. To make a long story short, the surgery happened on time and went off without a hitch; I was sent home a few hours later with a stack of gauze and medical tape to catch the seemingly endless drainage. It also hurt, but it turned out I didn’t need more than a couple pills of hydrocodone when all was said and done.
They say time flies when you’re having fun. But fun is not what describes this. 
So, I got my septum fixed today. Honestly the worst part about this is the (bloody) runny nose. Other than that I've got a headache and my nose is sore.
I'm sure a lot of this is the pain meds mitigating things but still... Everyone was talking up how awful this surgery is and blah, blah, blah.
People whine a lot.
Hey everyone. I'm here to announce some news about Equestria Mystery Dungeon but not of its cancellation.
There is some good news now. I've been at a first dentist appointment on Tuesday to get a preliminary examination and when the exact tooth that causes the problem was identified, it turned out that it's not a wisdom tooth (or molar, like they are also called, thank you pony author whose vocabulary is bigger than mine), but the second-to-last tooth on the upper right side. Which means, that the tooth doesn't have to go out. 
I was at the dentist yesterday. Because of a particular, severe pain in the entire right half of my mouth. I thought of something rather benevolent as the cause, but as it is the case so often, reality is much worse. It turned out that my upper-right wisdom tooth is making problems. It caused a huge, blue swelling on my gums right next to it and that is where the pain comes from. According to the dentist I saw yesterday, the only way to fix this is to get the tooth removed. How's that for a six
I am going to be working my ass off tomorrow, then in for surgery on Tuesday.
During recovery, my first three priorities are to finish off Broken Symmetry, to update Twilight's Secret Journal, and to rewrite Colors.
