Not much to say today - got 1,145 words done for Sunset, and I'm getting the feeling that this is likely going to be a short chapter. Probably the shortest in the story so far.

Then again, my predictions don't always pan out. So we'll see.

Current word total for the month is 5,727.

One thousand, three hundred, and twenty-five words written today.

Yeah, I'd say today exceeded expectations a fair bit. I finally found something of a groove for the Pie sisters and my writing of them, and it showed. How will people like the chapter? Can't say, to be honest. But for now, I'm satisfied.

Especially because I have officially met my goal for the month of 29k, and even my last-minute stretch goal of 30k!

Well, I got 1,161 words done today! That's nice at least, although to be honest I'm a little uncertain about how the chapter is going. Mostly in terms of the timeline and pacing of events, I think I'm probably gonna have to rework some of it later on.

Also, unfortunately, the new Sunset isn't ready to go yet, so it'll be a couple more days before the next update. But I think it'll be well worth the wait.

Another 1,095 words written today! Things ended up taking an unexpected turn in the story, but it's natural and it fits so I like it Exactly where it ends up going hasn't been written yet, but I'm confident you'll all like it too.

Cumulative word count for the month is 21,589!

Got 1,067 words written today! Not as much as the past couple days, true, but I'm happy all the same. I fully expect to complete this chapter tomorrow. Might even have time to start the next chapter of Sunset too, but I won't bank on it.

Current total for the month is now 4,813!

I'm back up to my usual pace again, writing a total of 1,154 words today! It helped that I was working on a pretty important scene for Synchrony. I know it isn't a particular well-known or popular story, but I enjoy writing it all the same and I do hope it goes over with its (small) readerbase.

Anyway, my total for the month is now 8,211 out of 29k! Nothing else to say, so I'll see you all tomorrow night.

Not much to say tonight, but no surprise there. Got two chapters of Synchrony edited myself, but I'm still looking for additional assistance for the project. If you'd like to help, just let me know!

Chapter seven just passed 30,5 K words, and it's still not done.

However, there is a good point in the middle (ish) I should be able to cut at and still have a quite decent 'wham' moment, so I should be able to wrangle a more 'standard' (for the rest of the story anyway) pair of chapters out of it.

I've got the sad news that the initial editor feedback for #8 is highly mixed, and will need a massive re-write.

The good news is that there's a couple of scenes that's gotten quite a bit of praise, and I was given a couple of really good ideas on how to fix things, so I'm not restarting totally from scratch.

My activity level is going to start to lower. Currently, the fair is going on where I live, so I will be going to the fair a lot. I also start Summer Phys-ed on Monday, which lasts for 3 weeks. I will not be online at all between 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM GMT-5 due to summer gym (and I obviously won't be online while I am sleeping lol) After that, I will be going to Sleep away camp for a week with no internet access. A bit later than usual for my daily blog, but whatever. I managed to write 1,241 words today! That puts the chapter at an aesthetically pleasing 7,676 words!

Also, I'm pretty sure I'll be able to finish it up tomorrow, probably? No guarantees, I don't have a solid idea of what all is left, but it's the feeling I got a lot this evening, so...
