So, raise your hand all of you who know about Oroboro's Sunset Shipping Contest Part 2? I knew, and that's why... I FINALLY DID A THING!
So, raise your hand all of you who know about Oroboro's Sunset Shipping Contest Part 2? I knew, and that's why... I FINALLY DID A THING!
Since I took a bunch of time writing 'For However Long' as my entry into the Sunset Shipping Contest, I won't be posting a Featherfall chapter next Wednesday. I keep to a pretty strict writing schedule and this story bit into that a little so to make sure it doesn't dissolve I'm going to resume normal postings on the 5th and onward.
That said, I hope you all enjoy my little side story. It isn't Featherfall canon obviously since Sunset is still leggy.
Two things to discuss here. Firstly, if you haven't heard, Oroboro's holding a Sunset shipping contest with the prompt "Changing Seasons." I already have an idea I'm working on. Working title is Automatic Transition.
Furthermore, since now seems to be the time to go into details, lets make this my official "going to Bronycon" planning blog. More below.
Hey folks,
To your great joy and I'm sure annoyance that I didn't do this sooner, I've decided to channel my inner Rarity and will be generously extending the contest deadline.
The new deadline is:
Due Date: September 9th, 11:59 PM CST, 2018
Two bits of news for you all tonight. First, with Chapter 5 of Synchrony nearly complete and Chapter 4 already Applety-approved, you should expect an update to that story sometime this Saturday. Look forward to it!
Second, I've completed the first chapter of the third part of my Sunset Shipping contest entry. I decided to split the third part into two because there's a time skip of about a month in the middle of it, and it felt more appropriate to just have it as a second chapter.
There's a lot of not shipping Sunset going on right now. You know what would fix that? A good old fashioned contest of shipping Sunset.
Hey everybody!
Oh, yeah, should have mentioned this earlier.
For any of you who aren't aware, Oroboro's Sunset Shipping Contest is currently underway for the second year in a row, and Oro made the surprising decision of asking me if I wanted to be a judge. I said yes before he could change his mind about it.
Heya folks! Remember that time, last year, when I ran a Sunset Shipping Contest that received over 50 entries?
It was an absolute blast, we got a ton of great stories out of it, and our website was blessed with an overabundance of Sunset Shimmer.
But who’s to say we can’t do it again?
Introducing…
Sunset Shipping Contest: Journeys
Just finished the second chapter of my Changing Seasons contest entry. It...kinda went off the rails a bit from what my initial plan for it was, but that's fine. I'm sure the fact that I'm at about 5.6k out of a 10k max word count and only halfway through the story won't be a pain in the butt at all.
Yes, I am sorry it isn't the next chapter of Fallen Canterlot. It's still in progress, more on that in a moment.
Anyway, for those who don't know, this year is the second Sunset Shipping Contest, hosted by Oroboro. Last year I felt I just wasn't ready to enter, but I promised myself that if it ever happened again, I would.
Deadline for The M/M Shipping Contest III was closing in, so Electro Swing went on the backburner for these two.
So the Sunset Shipping Contest: Journeys is already underway.
And there's been some significant upgrades to the prize pool.

General Plot.
While Sunny Daze and Peachy Pie are having a sleepover, a storm rolls in before they go to bed.
Sunny, shaken by fear, confides in the comfort of her friend. Peachy holds a secret she desperately wishes to tell to Sunny.
They grow closer through the storm.
Progress
Right now I have the ending written. I still need to write the lead up, but I want to fix this half up first.
Time Preference
There appears to be a bit of a an issue with Fimfiction's new story queue at the moment. Well, this just means I can build up some anticipation for when my next story comes down the pipe. You know, when that pipe gets unclogged.
Hey there everyone!
Just wanted to let you guys know I'm still VERY much alive! And not only that, spent the last month working on a fic for Oroboro's Sunset Shimmer Shipping Contest: Journeys.
Hope you guys will give it a read and let me know what you think!
Hey everyone!
