Okay, so, I've mentioned that this is happening in a few scattered places, but not in one proper announcement post: I'm writing a novel-length fic (currently nearing 70,000 words and counting) that will have every chapter illustrated by Bevin Brand, who worked on Equestria Girls! Woo!!!
That said, there's a few questions I'd like to answer (along with some teaser images from Bevin!)

As I said in my previous blog post, I planned on getting around to explaining the burnout on what was previously my OTP, SunLight. I've talked to a few people about this to make sure I have all my ducks in a row, so to speak. I wanted to make sure everything I say here was what I wanted to say, and that I could be as concise as possible. Still, it's gonna be a thing either way, so lemme explain.

I thought I'd give a few more details about the project, talk about where the ships are at in their relationships when we meet them, and go into what the process has been like in collaborating with an artist this closely.
So, to recap what this project is:
Surprise! My first fic, the Sunset/Rarity hurt-comfort story "Late-Night Conversations" now has an epilogue chapter! Even better, it's building up to a sequel story, which is now in the works; I'm hoping to publish in mid-to-late February.
She became conscious of the fact that she now really was looking at Sunset. Like, right at her. The rich amber of her face, the lovely cyan of her eyes, the fiery crimson of her hair, that kind, inviting warmth that radiated from her, a gaze that somehow felt as piercing as it was inviting.
Look at these buds. Wild times we're living in, huh? Make sure to wash those hands, you two!

The stories and the concepts circulating in my head but cannot put into words that seem attractive or interesting enough. That and procrastination. I've been doing other projects along with it. Such as music, art, and just jotting down enough of what I had in mind for the stories I wanted to tell.

2022 is coming to a close, and with it, my first full year writing stories for Fimfic. I can't really remember how many followers I started with on January 1, but it's a whole lot more than that now, and thank you all for that. Happy almost-New Year! In honor of the occasion and because the idea struck me, I've added an additional chapter to my Christmas Sciset fic "Sunset and Twilight's Winter Holidate" showing what happened to the two lovebirds later on in winter break. Very lighthearted and fluffy and I hope you enjoy!
