Sure... it sounds cheesy as hell. But the human gets to enjoy them piling up like hamsters on top of him in bed, among other things. Does it seem like too much wish-fulfillment? Could a story be good? Especially if it contains comedic elements such as the human with his love for the mane six empowers the Elements of Harmony. I feel like writing this as a serious story would be silly with so many mares.

For me, it has to be Liara. Blue nerdy alien babe melted my heart. She's smart, strong, and beautiful. She kinda reminds me of Twilight Sparkle. It's called Seraph's Kiss. It's about a boy named Nathan who meets his guardian angel Sarah and grows closer to her over a period of 25 years. It's pretty much just a mundane one-off with some interesting stuff like Nathan's brother John getting him into anime, video games, rock music, and teaching both him and Sarah martial arts. There's a couple metalcore and Myspace-era deathcore references sprinkled in the first couple chapters. If you guys have a gmail, I can send the file.

So I've been mulling over the idea of turning SOtF into a multiple-arc story type deal for a while now, and I've decided I'm not going to do that.
