Well guys, this is it, and here's proof for you all:
You don't have to ask about books and writing, just to be clear. But it helps, since that is the area of expertise I'm AMAing for.

Heads up, readers! Just a reminder that I will be doing a Reddit AMA tomorrow, starting at 1 PM Mountain Time, and I could really use your help getting some traction! So come, bring a question or two (about Shadow of an Empire, writing, or something else), upvote, and share the AMA! The more eyes it gets, the better an AMA it can become, so let’s get it some views!
Well, after a hysterically bad AMA with the CEO of Reddit where he doubled down on blatant, libelous lies he has made about a third-party developer, it is now crystal clear that Reddit is not the slightest bit interested in working with third-party apps.
Every single one is shutting down on June 30th, before the API changes take effect in July, so they won't get billed millions of dollars in August.
This one was more of a request for opinions than a theory post, so there's no conclusive worldbuilding for you to carry forward. The commentary I received back in 2017 was short and scattered, so there's no deep consensus wisdom to uncover.
Without further ado, here it is in mostly-original form.
I've replaced the introduction from my original post with this one. After the body of the post (past the second HR), I've also included a selection of worthwhile comments from the discussion the post generated back in May 2017.
Grandure: "I'm not scared of a computer passing the Turing test... I'm terrified of one that intentionally fails it."
Raske3zy: ITT: a bunch of computers posing as redditors
CarryTreant: The scary thing is, if there was a hyper-inteligent AI out there hiding its presence from us, I imagine it could quite easily manipulate people via social media without ever being detected.
NSA_Chatbot: That's preposterous.
So, just so you guys know, because of how hard it is for me to put out a reading of What I've Become on YouTube (I'm working on it, I just hate editing audio files with a passion, so it's taking me a while), I've been publishing some of the chapters of the story on the HFY! subbreddit in the hopes that I could get more people to read my story.
… This post is the kind of thing I’ve been talking about. Someone over on Reddit’s r/printsf (print speculative fiction, usually Scifi), after a discussion about how the subreddit almost always discusses the same few books, launched a post specifically to talk about indie Sci-Fi authors and people’s favorite indie Sci-Fi books.
Ok, it’s Number 5 on Reddit. I trust you can guess the pattern. Since I’m reposting this in 2022, this is all about Equestria before its first unification. Notably, this scenario couldn’t work for the pre-history of ANG, as it requires flying pegasi. I also felt like I did more copyediting of this post than earlier entries in the series. My apologies that it’s a wall of text essay instead of being broken up with headers. The original on Reddit had ponymotes to add visual cues.
This one is shorter than the prior few entries and, as such, has had a lighter 2022 editing touch. It's also largely already contained in the extended cut on my previous post on biplane pegasi posted here.
Here's a cringe thought to justify that image:
If Opaline was so abusive to Misty that she made her a sex slave, would she be constantly telling her, "Make sure to drink your Opaline"?
Oh, and 85% of Reddit's communities have gone dark for at least the next two days for the blackout in protest of their new API prices.
So I'll be doing a bunch of writing and Diablo IV today.
Hello everyone! It is me, Stahl, here with a possible new story! For those of you who read The Last Pony on Earth, I might be coming with a spin-off for you guys. Now, it isn't really my best work, but I was reading another spin-off a few nights ago and I was like, "I could do better than this..." so I wrote a chapter of my own version of it. But, I'm kinda having second thoughts on it. Mainly because I know for a
When Little Timmy went for lunch,
He stopped, and cheerful, chose:
'The very best burrito-brunch,
Devoid of GMOs!'He slowly paused to read the sign:
'We're proud to serve instead
Authentic food on which to dine -
Unmodified!' it said. And so he gaily made his way
To step, content, inside.
But Timmy ate at Chipotle.
And Timmy fucking died.- Poem for your Sprog, Reddit
Hey all. Still churning out basic art for my projects and here is Queen Celestia. Magic wielding ruler of Harmonia.
And that's all I'll say for the moment;)
Here's the reddit link to the release! :D
Stay tuned and spread the word ;)

Alright, last thing for tonight, but hopefully you folks get a chuckle out of this.
