So, knighty has decided to mess with the site again. At least it's still semi-usable for me, but… all the new tags! Gah. Now I've gotta go through all my stories and update stuff. I suppose it's a good thing I'm not one of those schmucks with over 100 fics on this site.
ON CHARACTERIZATION AND BROKEN PEDESTALS
This is a post I've been wanting to write for awhile, two months in fact. I think I'm finally in the emotional place where I can. During that time, I've had a lot of time to think about what to say and reflect on the mistakes I've made.

I literally make this story to just be a fun bit of clop that isn't supposed to follow a whole lot of logic and without even reading the first chapter/prologue you automatically pre-judge my shit and then try and lecture me about what to write? Like are you fucking kidding me right now? Like seriously the fuck is people's problem?
Looking at this entry I can't stop myself from a bit more self-reflection...
Why? I know you can write but yet you've lost the will... Go back. Look at you're story. That one shot right there was your best and you can still make the best of it. Yet you choose to leave it all behind. For what? Cause you don't want to? Cause you've lost the will to write? It's sad you've let something so good go to waste. You're an artist for it. There's no denying that. You're heart is where that art lies but you let it dwindle there instead of writing you're heart away.
Just have to vent here, but I’m real upset from seeing major finale plot points given away right in story info boxes. Titles, short descriptions, and even cover artwork. It should go without saying that not everybody watches early leaks or airings in other languages. Personally, I’ve always waited for the official episode releases like many other fans.
I can write joy, anger, fear and disgust but when it comes to writing sad I suck. I'm not the only one right?
Enough said, I mean seriously. When did internet speeds take a huge dump on spinning fan? It seems all of this year everyone and their dog is having internet problems. I wish I lived in America, I heard a rumor that they get more than 15 mbps? That sounds like a dream.
Fimfiction's emphasis on the frontpage as the primary means of story propagation is the biggest shortcoming for what is obviously meant to be a social fanfiction site. All that nonsense about the feature box and popular stories columns, which have obvious self-sustaining amplifying effects. This heavily biases visibility towards ultra-long-runners, (which keep slowly rolling until they finally hit it off) comedic oneshots, (which amass followers, which get a new story into the
...that ticks me off just as much, if not more so, than Maud Pie does.
Wow, what a shock! I didn't realize it before because said pony is a comic character and thus doesn't pop up as often. But, oh-ho-ho, when this character shows up whenever I search for a certain favorite character, I get more than a little annoyed at her appearance.

Let's talk cheat codes. I personally do use cheat codes. I love them. They make my gaming experience so much easier. However, when looking for cheat codes, more often than not, I end up encountering one particular thing that pisses me off. For example, you look up say, Pokemon Omega Ruby cheats. Not that much to ask for. You punch it into Google, and you see, "GameFAQs has 183 cheat codes and secrets". All right. You click, and there's not a single f*cking cheat code. Nothing. Nothing,
Sometimes you just can't write. Or you can but life distracts you. I apologize for not having a new story up and ready to go. I'm still working on "Antonovka". With any luck, it'll be posted at the weekend, but I've learned not to make promises since they're difficult to keep.
Hello everypony, creature, inanimate object, and anything else!
This blog post will simply mark something that I will be starting whenever I get overwhelmed, heavily saddened, or downright angry. The reason I am not using my stories as a vent for these frustration, is simply that that is not what I intend for my stories to do. The idea that I can make people smile, inspire people, or maybe just draw a laugh out of someone, is my goal in most, if not all, of my stories.
So, it seems my Wacom tablet is officially nonfuctional now, and if customer support ever gets back to me then I'll eat my carpet. Seriously, have you ever tried contacting them? It's near impossible. I guess this means I can't do any more art now. This is really frustrating because now this means I can never finish up all the work I have for other people (a gift for someone and a request from a close friend, mainly), plus I can't draw things anymore to illustrate blogs.
