We had to set up a tarp to protect the flame of our camping stove from the 20 mph winds that regularly came through. The tarp was pretty cheap on Amazon and did not survive the windy week.
Now, I know that all my non-American followers don't really give a shit about today. However, for those of us who do live in and love America, today is the day when we can set of fireworks, holler, wave flags everywhere, nd generally enjoy ourselves while the rest of the world thinks 'Murica's gone batty. Anyways, happy 4th, and a cliché as it is, God bless America, and the rest of the planet for that matter.

Happy National Lionel Trains day everypony. You guys might be fimiliar with lionel trains the first toy train company and been making trains for more than 115 years. Dec 6, which is today, the 2nd annual National Lionel Trains day. But their is one problem, I live in eastern Washington, and the only hobby shop who is celebrating this is Eastside Trains... in Kirkland, Wa, which is the rhe total oppisite of east. Plus it is snowy on the passes and it is dangerous to drive on. And to top it all

My next chapter is almost ready, but I am lacking a very crucial part of it.
Some of you may have guessed that my next chapter would be Mythic's very Grand Galloping Gala and so I need something important. At important occasions such as this (the equivalent of 4th of July in America) I find it confusing that Equestria, to this day, does not have a national anthem of some sort.
