Well, here we are, in the days of EQG #4, and I can find out how well my trepidations played out. By which I mean, what's the pattern? Are odd-numbered movies good and even-numbered movies bad? Was Rainbow Rocks a fluke, with the presence of two less-than-stellar movies giving the odds at a bad movie 2-to-1?

Why? Why had Twilight to steal the heroine part from Sunset Shimmer? I thought this was her adventures. She was the main protagonist. I loved the idea of a former villain become one of the good guys. No, Twilight had to steal the show. Not only is she an alicorn in this world too (and Sunset for some reason isn't), she takes over Sunsets place as day saver.

So I had the chance to watch the new EQG movie yesterday, and I gotta admit it's probably my least favorite of them so far. There was a lot more in this movie that felt like it was taking the series down that all too predictable "teen girl high school show" route, and it lost a bit of its spark in doing so. Hey there. I'm still alive. Sorry for any delays. I've been swamped with work here. Right after the super bowl, we jumped right into the livestock show and rodeo. This last weekend was packed. Got to watch possibly the last concert by Willie Nelson. Had a crowd of over 75 thousand people. He hasn't been to the Houston rodeo in 13 years! Plus I'm getting my car worked on. I haven't driven in ages and I'm having seizures from it. LOL.
