The Bronycon Bookstore Inventory Survey is now up and running. Be sure to let us know what titles you're interested in, regardless of whether you're headed to Bronycon or not! The surplus will be available online.

I'm currently waiting on the Oversaturation proof copy. Be sure to mention it if you want your own!

To Displace or Not to Displace? · 2:49pm Jan 22nd, 2016

So there are considerations being made- Mostly on whether or not to continue with the displaced. I believe at least one of my stories may suffering for the... status of being displaced, it's release schedule certainly has at the very least. Calm down readers, that doesn’t mean I’ll stop writing the adventures of our favorite cyborg and buxom boxer- not all at (I love Maze way too much now to do that :pinkiehappy:)

Doubling Season? · 8:07pm May 25th, 2020

Been trying to take advantage of Memorial Day weekend to get some writing done, so naturally I started doing so on Monday. Ah, procrastination. In any case, a new Dueling Keyboards short is up.

Also, the "Alone in the Darkness" reading got me feeling nostalgic. Would anyone want to read another Story Shuffle collection?

I'm focusing on getting the Oversaturated World version of the Friendship Games up and running as best I can. As such, I'd like to try something a bit different with Group Precipitation this week, a prompt. Specifically:

As you likely know, we're entering a midseason hiatus. However, that doesn't mean that I won't be able to provide a card blog next Sunday. Instead, I can start reviewing the IDW comics. Of course, that leads to the question of where to begin. My default choice is currently the Revenge of Queen Chrysalis, it being the first storyline and all, but I have access to the main series up through the Siege of the Crystal Empire, Friends Forever up through the Rarity and Gilda issue, all of FIENDship is

I have been very consistent in terms of avatars on this site. I've only changed it once in my nearly four years here, and that was an unsolicited art upgrade explicitly provided to me by the original artist.

And yet...

Then Goes the Neighborhood has gone off to the editors. In the meantime, I found something on my Google Drive. It's inspired by Estee's The Elements of Elements collection. I think you can guess which periodic element it's using as its prompt. The thing is, it's... kind of dumb.

Like, really dumb. One-gag story dumb.

Also, it's barely over a thousand words.

I'm working on an Equestria Girls story that builds on several previous stories set in that world, but I need a bit more setup, along with an opportunity to put out some headcanon. However... Well, it's just not coming together. I've posted the current draft of the story here. Comments are enabled.

There's an idea that's been sitting on one of my many mental back burners for two years, and I'd like to finally take it off the stove. The problem is that I can think of three different approaches, and I'm not sure which will work best. Thus, I turn to you, my trusted friends.

I've entered Estee's Swift Selections contest, having picked the Crossover genre, and am currently working on my idea for it. The nature of the crossover should come as no surprise—they can't all be superhero origin stories—but I'm not sure which of two potential cover images will work better. Thus, I'm asking for an outside opinion. Which of the following

Well, life's been interesting here lately. Looking for work, have a blizzard sweeping my way... and I'm still drowning in ideas that I've yet to write.

So! How about a list of what's currently rattling around my head? If any of these piques somepony's interest, do let me know. Might be the impetus to get me working on it. Also, I might have something new getting published either tonight or tomorrow~

There's this idea I've been developing off and on for several months. Bit of a screwball Oversaturated World comedy/world building exercise, meant to be harmless fun... Except it centers around a character getting sick.

So, court of public opinion time: Shelve Future Congestive for the time being or go forward with it? For the record, it's a rhinovirus.

There's a week left in the contest... but a surprising number of people seemed to have missed the memo on the thing in the first place. Seriously, this turned out to be a Wallflower-grade announcement. :applejackunsure: Given how many people I've seen come in from links on entrants, I'm strongly considering extending the deadline to either the 15th or the 22nd to give everyone an extra weekend or two. Which would

But I wanted to write this both in 2016 and after getting a good night's sleep. Read on for a look back and a look forward, especially if you read the Friendship is Card Games series.
