I'll admit, I've been looking forward to answering each one of these as they popped up in my feed. It's been a long time since I've done a Q&A, and I'd forgotten how fun it is! In fact, I think I'll do one for Colony next. Which is fitting as Jungle draws closer with every day, and I need to start upping the hype for it.

So, let's talk some Dusk Guard stuff. There's the bit in the title, naturally, which I'll get to a moment. But there's also something else I wanted to share with you guys. Someone has taken to updating the Dusk Guard Saga TV Tropes pages!

The troops agree, and then take up their positions. And very soon, a little filly with red hair comes in. She smiles up at the guards.
Applebloom: "Hello! May I please go into the Incredibly Dangerous Weapons Vault, mister? Pretty please?"
Guard 1: "Well... I don't know. It is very dangerous."
For those of you who are up to date with the latest Beyond the Borderlands chapters, Mane 6 Pets has started an interesting discussion in the Dusk Guard Group, one concerning all the major revelations that have dropped over the last ten or so chapters (READ: lots of spoilers if you aren't caught up) with regards to the immortals.
I was writing a blog post about one subject, and in the middle I had an epiphany about an entirely different subject. I'm putting the former on hold so I can write the latter first.

The Dusk Guard Saga: Hunter/Hunted's Alpha 1 is now at 74,000 words, and part 2 is underway. Action has happened. Bones have been broken. Magic has been magic'd.
You know, pretty much what you'd expect from a dangerous group of elite guard.
So yeah, just keeping the word out. Hunter/Hunted will be out this year. When I won't say. But out it will be!
I've been getting a lot - and I mean a lot - of name ideas for guards, some specific, others just the names which is all cool. While the future chapters will only have the twelve - four thestrals, two earth ponies, two unicorns and two pegasi - guards, there will be future guards for Ponyville.
I really don't get it. I get a funny scene in my head of someone from the Royal Guard assuming another pony wanted to join the Royal Guard Academy, only to realise that it's actually Gallus, a griffon, and gets flustered because its something that has never happened before. I post it on Wednesday afternoon, and by the end of the day it got less than 20 upvotes and just over 100 views, and I was perfectly happy with that.

Speaking of fun, someone has finally started updating the TV Tropes page to catch up! The section for Beyond the Borderlands has been pretty empty, but it looks like the developments of Chapter 18 were enough to get some people touching it up again! Thanks, whoever you are!
Alright, I should've done this sooner, but I've made some decisions regarding my stories. First off, the writing style. I'm settling what I've been using in the recent parts of The Northern Guard. On that note I'm marking both Broken Mirror and Northern Guard as complete... Where they're obviously not complete.
Since Season # 01 for the DayGuard and the Season # 02 for the NightGuard, we have argued whether the Uniform Appearance of the Guards is due to glamour which is part of the uniform or whether they really all look the same. In the case of the NightGuard, one must posit a new kind of pony, a thestral of batpony. I do not know does anybody even watching my blog but if you liked my story maybe you will be interested. In the comments I have promised if it reaches at least 50 likes there will be a sequel. And yesterday it has happend. So officially I am working on the sequel.
I cant say when will it be released but I have a ton of free time to write so it should not take too much time.
I've noticed that a lot of my stories currently in the works involve guards, or guard-like characters. I'm starting to think I may have a type. Or possibly a problem. Nevertheless! They are what they are. Rest assured, though, I do have more than just guard-pony stories.
The Story of a Royal Guard series is now officially The Guard And His Sword. A slight play off of 'The Horse And His Boy.' I would've gone with 'The Sword And Its Horse' but that sounded ridiculous and slightly inaccurate. 'The Horse And His Sword' was also considered, but... well, he's a pony. 'The Pony And His Sword' doesn't work as it doesn't give enough about who he is. He's a guard. Thus the title.
The Dusk Guard: Rise just hit a milestone, people. 500 upvotes.

Whew! After almost a week (I was juggling this project alongside my part-time, remember) I have finished going through The Dusk Guard: Rise, and making a number of fixes and tweaks.
