HAPPY (day late) BIRTHDAY TO ME!!! Incase you want to know why the next chapter isn't done yet, it's because I have been distracted by video games, lack of motivation (not sure why as I like where the story heads next, even if it's sad), and random other excuses. Also, my birthday was yesterday, so I currently have Metroid: Samosa Returns to distract me... OHHH SOMETHING SHINY!!! (Dashes away from computer for ten minutes to chase a laser pointer)
I'll be honest, I kinda forgot about this while playing Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Sorry. But anyway, HAPPY KINDA LATE NEW YEAR! It's update time.
First, I have finished the next chapter of Freedom Shall Ring, and a second one is almost halfway done (I think). I just need to wait for edits and finish the second one, then I can continue our adventure into Lady Obsidians property.
I wrote a sequel to my story, Shaping Love and War.
It's called Patience of Love.
It's a bit more explicit than the first one. I have another sequel planned, which will probably be rated M for its explicitness... but maybe not. I'm thinking of calling it "Screwball's Poker Face" or something like that.

So, I just watched the season finale, and I must say I liked it a lot. Good lesson, Starswir was a bit different than I expected, but I liked his change by the end, and overall it was quite a nice bit of lore development. However, this DOES mean that my idea about the Tree of Harmony from Freedom Shall Ring is certainly not cannon, but who cares? It's an alternate universe anyway 
My girlfriend isn't a pony fan. She doesn't hate ponies, they're just not her thing. However, she loves me sharing stories I've written with her and showing her the wider culture of the site, including other peoples' stories. This isn't a blog about the good fanfics I've shown her (I have yet to show her anything particularly long), it's about the bad stuff. I'm going to be spending the next day packing up the rest of whatever I'm bringing to college with me, today (Wednesday) with my girlfriend - as it will be the last time we'll be able to see each other for at least three months (the pain :( ).

As the title suggest, this is a monthly update. I want to try to post a blog at least once a month so I can keep everyone up to date and in the know of what's happening with my stories.
