Have you ever noticed that some types of stories have very attached stereotypes? I mean, if it's a crossover, it will be shallow and lazy. If it it's dark, it will contain gore. If there's a sex tag, it's porn. So on and so forth. Well, what are the more common stereotypes?

A very apt blog title, this one; the result totally blew me away. After a Fashion, my entry in the Barcast's Make Rarity Not Garbage contest, won third place in said contest.
Aragon won, of course. I wasn't expecting to even medal, but with him in the mix, it just isn't fair for us mere mortals.
To make a long story short, I was listening to some music, and a rather... unusual song popped up. Said song gave me some... unusual ideas regarding a certain story of mine, which is already well outside my writing comfort zone. So I thought to myself "Sure, why not throw this in, too? It's not like it was the most coherent of stories to begin with."
It's come to my attention that like four months have passed since the last The Equestrian Event, (TEE), update was released. Why? Because I'm slow and meticulous. Whatever that means. And besides, no one really seems to read it through except twenty people, (thank you twenty people!), so I'm not under a whole lot of pressure to rush chapters out.
Just because I wrote it, doesn't mean I can't ruthlessly mock it with relevant parody songs
Recently I posted an awful sequel to an already awful story. Having decided to take the same route as the last and wing it, it was horrible. This time though, it wasn't just horrible; it was painful to read. The jokes were beyond disturbing -even by the standards of the first-, there were way too many typos, it was sloppy, and overall I wasn't very proud of it.
Japanese put Western freaks in their place. Good.
When jokes are more than jokes. They become reality.

Its chapters tend to be as short, or oftentimes even shorter than the average "What If" chapter.
Also, yes, it indeed is probably just as insane as What If, but actually has some vague sense of a story continuity going through it.

I went to see whether Star Wars Episode # Ⅶ: The Force Awakens is a sequel to Star Wars Episode # Ⅵ: Return of the Jedi, a remake of Star Wars Episode # Ⅳ: A(n) New Hope (before H, one should use an), or a SWINO (Star Wars In Name Only). To my astonishment, it is both a terrible remake of Star Wars Episode # Ⅳ: A(n) New Hope and parts of Star Wars # Episode # Ⅴ: The Empire Strikes Back and Swino.
New powers are being discovered in Equestria- a psychic manifestation of ones heart. Applejack would have thought these strange tales were made up until she began to see a black timberwolf that nopony else could see.
And she's not the only pony in Ponyville. As more Stand users are being found they begin to feel a pull towards a forgotten kingdom in the North. A kingdom that had been passed down in stories of the Apple Clan like a fairytale- the Crystal Kingdom of the vampire King Sombra.
Rating Scale:
12/10—a complete masterpiece; flawless and outstanding
11/10—Excellent, near-perfect film
10/10—the standard rating; awesome film with a couple of flaws
9/10—a wonderful film with several flaws
8/10–a great film with numerous flaws but not enough to ruin it
I know there's going to be a point at work where after quick pace manual labor I'll just be sitting around for a bit waiting.

Does anybody want to hear about my weekend at Dragon Con? No? Good. It wasn't bad but it was uneventful. I'd say the biggest four things I managed to do were as follows. On the first day of the convention my roommates and I went to Jalapeño Charlie's where they ran out of food and had to shut down the kitchen for a half hour. When we ate the food was good and when we left we took the elevator.
