I never keep New Year's Resolutions, because I never make any. Something about that time of year feels wrong for meaningful changes, because it's like the big RESET back to our routines after all those holidays. But maybe my birthday is a more fitting time for a bold new beginning. It's always felt that way to me.

The design is a Farnsworth-Hirsch fusor, which uses high electric fields to force hydrogen atoms into fusing together. There is a whole community of fusion fans building reactors in basements and garages around the world.

Long story short, I'm underwhelmed.

I've had this story hyped up to me by so many people, and to me it kinda doesn't live up to it's reputation. The pacing is odd, I feel like it glossed over some stuff it should have put more detail into, and I have to side with Pinkie on this one: Dash should have put up more of a fight.
