I'm looking for a bit of constructive feedback on one of my stories, The Edge. The tone was a lot darker and the story was generally more descriptive than I usually write.
I also wrote the first half on paper, so I had to type it out before I continued writing. I think that may have improved the quality of writing, did anyone notice that? Should I do it more often?
It is common that every time one of Mykan's Critics or anyone on this site says ANYTHING about Mykan, see starts going off on a tangent about everything he thinks is against him, even good reviews. Such is the way Mykan has been acting and his latest fad is debunking everything or in his written words 'De-Bunking'.
So I'm curious people. I want to know what parts in 'Atonement for a Wayward Dragoon' you've found to be the most interesting, riveting, and entertaining.
I want to improve my craft by honing in on my strengths. But that's not to say I don't want to get input on areas that I need improvement on. So, I suppose this blog will be the place to discuss the story's elements and events.
Good news! I'm keeping all my Patreon obligations, even if I haven't fulfilled, you know, the intended purpose of it.
But I'm still writing 1,000 words a day, every day — even if it isn't all pony — and I'm still doing this weekly blog post, as promised.

The number one rule is: Criticism, constructive criticism, does not mean you did not write a good story. It means that the reviewer, the critiquer, found things that they thought could be wrought better. Criticism is, by definition, not positive. It's aim is to have a positive effect.

Yep, I have a new story up! I wrote it last night (or really, early this morning) in about 2 or 3 hours, and I hardly took it seriously. It's a funny little read, so if you want, check it out.
We all know what will happen to it anyway.
Today I must remind myself comments are for commenting. Good and bad. Long or short. Those that criticize and those that point out something ironic/amusing/WTF?!?. I have never shied away from any as long as they weren't hate filled, overly spammy, or so confusing that I had no idea what they were trying to say... It is the nature of putting whatever you create(Like a fan fiction) out there for people to see...
Hey everyone, it's been a while since I've made my last post. I've finished my submitting of Scenery Corner. In all honesty, idk how it's gonna turn out since I have already 1 dislike. Not too surprised, hopefully it doesn't turn out like that apocalypse story I made, now that was a disaster and I have to remake it a couple of times.
