Today the EU Copyright Directive which I discussed a couple weeks ago has, unfortunately, taken it's next step into becoming law.
The Good News; I was apparently somewhat mistaken on the timetable and today's vote wasn't the final vote, which means there's still time.

Warner Brothers is being sued over The Conjuring, a series of movies loosely based on the "true story" of Ed and Lorraine Warren and the haunting of a certain house, in what is possibly one of the most amusing lawsuits I've heard about this week.
(So, I'm going to talk about Article 13 and shit again. If you want to skip all the political talk and the jargon about what A13 threatens to do and how it might affect us - even outside the EU - hit Ctrl-F and search for "***" without quotations)

On September 12, the EU is going to bring back Article 13 (As well as Article 11 and the rest of the EU Copyright Directive) into negotiations.
