Odium continued to rage beneath her, struggling to bend his limbs at the awkward angles needed to get to the mare on his back. A claw scraped past her hooves, leaving behind a thin streak of blood. Twilight winced at the pain, allowing for the device to slip from her teeth. She plunged her head down again, feeling for the small chip.

“You’ll kill him if you try!”

Crunch.

The Suffering Ends · 4:25am Dec 2nd, 2017

So this was one heck of a month for me. Not only did I promise to write 60,000 words for National Pony Writing Month, but I also had to go take the GRE Test in order to apply for my graduate school. Coupled with a birthday and shrinking possibilities of getting a job, it was quite the stressful month.

But I did it. I survived, and even succeeded in some places.

I studied for the GRE and got better than average scores.

Being a Better Writer: Concluding a Subplot · 10:22pm Sep 21st, 2020

Hey people! First off, apologies for being a bit late today. I stayed up late making sure the ad campaign for the Big 300 Sale had properly launched, slept late as a result, and then got sidetracked by a lot media news (Bethesda, if you’re curious).

Defending Celestia Part 3 · 4:40am Oct 19th, 2015

ACCUSATION: That Celestia has allowed a little Pegasus Filly with a crippling disability to remain in that state without using her powers to heal her. (AKA, why has Celestia not healed Scootaloo?)

Continuation versus Conclusion; The Dichotomy of Story Structure · 7:12am Sep 14th, 2015

The more fiction I consume, the more I notice patterns. Pigeonholing subjective art is never going to be perfectly accurate, but there are generalizations that have some truth. Today, I’d like to talk about a pattern that is present in all fiction, but is more noticeable and more identifiable in fanfiction.

Broadly speaking, fiction can be divided into two types; those that are designed to conclude, and those that are designed to continue for as long as possible.

BronyCon 2017 and the Completion of Never Stop Smiling · 3:02am Aug 11th, 2017

BronyCon has come once again, and I'll be there! I'll be hanging around the Vendor Hall a lot of the time, potentially by table #224. Wherever I end up, if you find me, don't be afraid to stop and say hello!

Just in time for BronyCon comes chapter three of Never Stop Smiling, drawing the story to its conclusion. Almost three years since I released the first chapter, I'm glad to finally complete this story.

Give it a read. I'd love to know what you think!
