As you know, I've been working on this animated series called TAWOTA. And for those not in the know, every character in TAWOTA is on the autism spectrum. While a part of me does wonder if it's a bit too soon to make a casting call, I figured I'd do it now anyway just to be safe. And to get more of a variety in choice, of course.

Character descriptions and lines:
So find the closest person with autism you know and give them a hug to let them know that you care!
Actually, don't do that. They might have sensory issues that would make that uncomfortable.
But seriously, autism is an actual thing that affects a bunch of people. The effects might range from social issues to near-immobility in extreme cases.
Now you're aware.
Okay, the latest episode just added fuel to my headcanon about Maud having autism. From this episode, we learn that Maud has always had a hard time making friends, which is a struggle that many people with autism have. We also learn that Maud is actually pretty lonely even though she doesn’t always express it. This is also something that people with autism deal with. Furthermore, Starlight explicitly describes Maud as “weird” and “sees the world in a totally different way,” descriptions
I just heard about the most amazingly, heart-meltingly wonderful thing ever. Sesame Street is adding a new muppet. I’ve seen the news about her and saw some clips of her online, and she is just a dear. Her name is Julia, and she has autism. That’s right. The newest Sesame Street muppet has autism, and I honestly can’t get enough of her. She loves bubbles and butterflies. She sings songs and plays with a little stuffed rabbit. She bounces and flaps her arms when she’s
I am trying to make a type of video for Autism Awareness Month, does anyone have questions/anything they wanna know about autism I could put in the video?
Okay, I'll admit that I'm a little, err, a lot too old to be watching Sesame Street, but I just had to watch this video. I totally teared up while I was watching it. It totally exceeded my expectations, and I just had to share this with everyone.
Inspiration hit today as I was reading the next story I am reviewing and preparing for an upcoming meeting with AANE. Decided to create a Discord, and once I got that all sorted out I thought... Why not an accompanying Reddit to go with it? So I've created both:
The trailer for the upcoming film Music, directed by the Australian singer herself, has received 49,000 likes and 41,000 dislikes.
This is because she casted Maddie Ziegler, rather than an autistic actor, to portray the nonverbal autistic protagonist. Most people who are on the spectrum claimed that they felt uncomfortable and disgusted because the portrayal is unrealistic and stereotypical.
For those of you unfamiliar Chris Chan is an internet celebrity with Autism that has been known for years for exhibiting increasingly horrific behavior that eventually resulted in him being in legal hot water for allegedly raping his 80 year old mother. In this video I emphasize that while Chris Chan is an extreme example he is a potential warning of what can happen if we don't take responsibility for our own actions and decide to play the victim.
not that anyone reads my blogs as they're mostly just one or two sentences but that's ok. I have a few things in mind that i want to eventually ponify. This is where I'll name them:
1. Black Butler
2. Darkest Night
3. The Bright Sessions
4. The Black Tapes
5. Welcome to Nightvale
6. Future Diary
7. What's the Frequency?
8. S-Town
9. Mabel
10. A complete redo of Deadly Manners but under a different name with a slightly different plot
Since I'm gravely autistic, I went and decided, "Hey! Since nopony has went through and catalouged which voice actor voice which character in the Swedish dub, why don't I do that!!!"
I started with just a word document, and then I went full R and said "Hey! Wouldn't it be much better to make a video, so you can hear the different voices instead!?!! Hurr durr I'm a fucking idiot lolz!"
And since then, I've had it as a side project for months now.
...
Hopefully, it would have been worth the wait. I announced the series in February and here we are now a month and 16 days later!
I know I said it was gonna be longer but Blender 2.8 was starting to lag and it just came to my recent attention that a teaser trailer should be short.
Stay tuned for more info!
Howdy, folks. This is either going to be a quick and unfortunate update or a long and unfortunate venting post. I don't know and I'm not editing this sentence when I've figured it out so we're going to find out together wheeeeee
The short version is that I'm not writing as much as I'd like because my brain sucks. The long version is I'm not writing as much as I'd like because my brain sucks in a specific way, namely...
And no, it's not because I found a Valentine's date or anything because I am still single but not ready to mingle. No, I'm on about this:
I was off my meds for a couple of days, which completely sucked. But now going back on them is just making my brain somehow more scrambled than being without them! My ADHD meds are the only reasons I can focus enough to write or do... most things, but after not being on them going back on is just a lot? I don't have the words to describe the feeling it's just like... My body wants to go fast but my brain is slowing down and I just ugggghhhhhhhhh
Hey, remember when I announced TAWOTA back in 2020? Good times. Crazy how it went from a funny little cartoon about a bunch of characters on the autism spectrum to a surreal existential horror where poor Leon is trapped in an unstable reality that is not his own, forced to cater to the whims of his capricious creator and his apathetic watchers. Though, with benefit of hindsight, perhaps it was always going to turn out the
