Because rest assured, this is art.
Especially since I feel the halloween spirit in the air so early. Helps that I've been on a roll with Elements on perhaps the darkest part of the story, released a new story about a costumed superhero, and am also working on a new Apparition Amphitheater (which will release chapter by chapter at the end of the month).
This isn't even going into the gaming front, where I'm diving deeeeeeeeep into quite a few games that get me into the mood, like:
- Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 (PS4)
But seriously I am working on it. Progress is just... slow
What's up guys? I have some cool news. We are one follower away from 20 Followers. That's pretty exciting. I may just think about writing a new story as well. I'm thinking of doing something special at 50 followers. It's a surprise. So at 20 followers I'll be writing a story. Also... next week is my last full week until school starts. But don't worry stories will be coming more and more. So dont be sad. Anyways, have a good day, night, or afternoon wherever
I’ve seen a lot of people posting their ship opinions so I thought why not be an overachiever and do my top 3 for all of the main 9.
Twilight Sparkle:
3. Twilight X Moondancer: now this is a strange ship and I strongly dislike Moondancer but the lesbian vibes in that episode are next level + bedroom eyes + book horses should be with other book horses and overall it’s a cute ship.
so.
last night, i was dabbling a bit with fractures again. i was finally making a decision on how I wanted the story to end, despite said story only having about 1.5 chapters written so far across over three years of existence.
i also during that time made the decision to split off a chunk of the story to instead serve as a prequel. an explainer for how things led up to the event that sets off Fractures, and why.
and somehow, I only JUST made the connection tonight...
Seriously though, the second published chapter since the exam doldrums, following up with Guiding of the Sirens chapter two!
You may have noticed a sizable influx of stories in the past few days, including my own Heir A-pear-ent. The due date for Tumbleweed's Springtime Sequel-Slash-Sandbox Switcheroo arrived, and we all agreed to post everything at roughly the same time so everyone could find out who was assigned whom together. But I didn't write this blog solely for self-promotion.
Will be back to writing here entirely for the foreseeable future tomorrow. Editing this thing was an absolute mess.
Here's the stuff I was working on 60,000 plus words and all
That was six actual weeks of work. That one blog is pretty much a novel.
If you're looking for up-and-coming new authors, TCC56 has picked some out over here. There's something for every taste between the three of them.
(And if you're looking for old authors, I just put out a story. Just saying. )
Also, today is my birthday. I mostly spent it on the train, but I did get coffee from a somewhat suspicious place:
Alright, so below the cut, I will be discussing what I think about the coming finale. Enter at your own risk. Also, I'll mention the album "It's A Pony Kind of Christmas", since I've been listening to it since last night. I mention this because I don't what your religious affiliations are or what your initial opinions of the album are, so I'm bringing it up in case.
So, tomorrow, I'm going to be competing in yet another journalism competition for my school, only this time, I gotta be at the school by 6 AM. My teacher was a little too casual about that bit of info.
Teacher: Alright, so we'll pack up on the bus at about 6 AM--
Me: 6 AM?!
Teacher: Yes, and we'll be driving for about 45 minutes to get to the--
Me: 45 MINUTES WILL NOT BE SUFFICIENT NAP TIME FOR ME WHEN I HAVE THE SLEEP SCHEDULE I DO.
Throughout the infinitely large body of existences collectively known as time streams, no form of magic is as frequently powerful as harmonic energy, perhaps single most powerful form of magic to exist in this or any reality. For this reason, harmonic energy in many multiverses takes the form of an abstract, godlike consciousness, though to call Harmony a deity in these cases would be a vast understatement, as the power of such an entity greatly surpasses even that of gods.
Spoilers below the cut!
Nope, nothing here on the site. Don't have time for that right now. I've been notified that I'll be a participant in our school's UIL competition tomorrow for Journalism. My teacher saw how fast and well I wrote, even when under pressure (well, compared to others, heh), and he said to me sometime last semester that he'd like it if I would be a part of competitions. My initial response was:
I realized recently I didn't have an actual Gemsona, so I decided to make one. I was also stupid and only realized after drawing her that I made her my birthstone...yeah.
Before anyone says anything, yes; I know Opal is already a canon fusion. I follow the headcanon that fusion gems can be non-fusion gems, and vice versa. Plus, I'm pretty sure they're two different types of Opal.
This will be one of the rare times I link to my Patreon. I feel like advertising it too frequently is 'tacky'. As a reminder, $2 a month will get you all articles a week in advance, as soon as they're written.
However, I'd like to advertise an update I just made for a $5 reward tier.
