Today is my last day of my first year on this site and my first day of my second year. 
So I think I should write a blog post about my year.
I readed more than 600 story, whit more than 14.000.000 word.
I'm tracking more than 100 ongoing fict.
I don't know what is the average on this site, but I'm proud of my statistics. 
There are 19 likes with 21 people putting them in a library of their own. The dislikes are understandable, considering that people have a thing against bandwagoning (I myself, am included in those people) and the fic has a bit of an unusual feel to it even when compared to the universe it is a part of. Whenever I post a new chapter, it gets views, but here is the problem I have:
No one is commenting.

Alright, so I've mentioned previously that I have a creativity Twitter account where I'm keeping track of my words.
Oh, goodness. Never has a single project used so completely nearly every single talent I have: Illustrator, Photoshop, writing, reading, excel, VBA, Java, not to mention the hours spent watching After Effects tutorials. But it is done!

Over on the UK of Equestria forums, we asked people to rank the pre-hiatus Season Six episodes from 1-11 (counting the premiere as one). We had 14 responses, not bad for a half-season, and below you can see the mean ranking table. Any episode with an average rating of second or above gets five stars. Then down to fourth, four; down to sixth, three; down to eighth, two; and any episode which scored an overall ranking below eighth is lumbered with a one-star rating.

Here's the list I produced for the usual end-of-season vote on UK of Equestria. The rules there are that double episodes count as one, and that no ties are permitted. The order might change around a little bit in the future, once things have had more of a chance to sink in, but here's my current thinking:

A surprising 4.4% to 5.5% of FimFiction stories published in 2022 were de-listed!
A year ago, I blogged on Year-2022 stories and identified the following published totals for 2022, which can be compared to this year.
Some nihilist has clicked the 'dislike' button on Letters From an Irradiated Princess, sending it down to be ranked 523rd on the site. Oh, how the mighty have fallen. Hubris, tragedy, etc. I suppose I am no longer best at pony.
(Still, I take entirely too much pleasure when my stories apparently are in the top 1% of fanfics on the site).
And now, time to go be productive on some other stuff! In theory.

Sorry about dropping off-grid for a lot of the last month. I'd been expecting to get a lot of pony stuff done lately, but I got hit with a sudden change in my plans for the winter just before Thanksgiving. In fact, that's what I'd like to talk about here.
So I finally figured out how to use a JSON parser. Thanks to the fimfic archive this means that I now know with certainty the amount of words of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic fanfiction that has been written up until April 15, 2014.

We're seriously about to hit a billion words! I love this fandom!
For those looking to identify stories to compile a "best of" list for this year (2022), here is some search logic:
Input in the "Stories" search bar:

Non-Mature Stories: 4271 currently
Mature Stories: 2003 currently
Total Stories: 6274 currently
Trigger warning: Counting of horrible things.
(I don't quite understand how to do a trigger warning. If a subject triggers someone, then just naming that subject will trigger them just as badly. So how are you supposed to write a trigger warning?)

Mature Stories: 1887
Total Stories: 6397
This exceeds last year's 6274 to 6343 total published stories.
Comparatively, in 2023, less Mature stories were published and more Non-Mature stories were published than in 2022.
