Yeah, i would pretty much love to hear your recommendations for me, guys.
What exactly i mean is that i would love to have some recommended short stories that i'd love to read and add to my favs.
So last blog I posted wasn't a real update. It was generally a way to showcase how I throw ideas at a wall until something sticks. Allow everything to spiderweb. Now that's all well and good, but it was a giant wall of text with a story in its own right trying to detail the plot and setting of an RP while also giving an inside look on some characters. It was a condensed mess and even condensed it was long as all hell. With this in mind allow to give some reading recommendations,
I have a large number of stories which are on my favorites and recommended stories lists but which I have never done a real review for. I thought I might start correcting that. Consequently, every story in this post is either recommended or highly recommended. I would say that I hope you enjoy them, but I know you will.

Tis a pity this guy only has 20 followers; he deserves a lot more than just that. This story was crafted wonderfully, so I'd like it if you gave it a read! This story was listed as one of the winners in the bat pony writing competition, so that should show you the sort of quality you can expect.
Hi! I was wondering if I could ask some of you to recommend some stories to me. I've flitted about the story section and groups for a while, but I'm very curious to know what some of your favorite tales are here. A personal recommendation is more fun, after all. I'm interested in two major groups: F/F romance, and filth. Those groups don't have to interact; I like F/F romance that's as clean as fresh laundry and I like filth no matter what the gender pairings. 
The second-place story from the latest write-off, Collaborators, by the mysterious and diabolical Baal Bunny, went live a few hours ago, with significant changes to the beginning and the ending.
(Still no kissing, though.

Youtube basically is... being an ass, what does that mean for me? Nothing. I'm not a youtuber, I watch a lot of youtube, I don't create stuff on youtube.
But for the fimfiction group Barcast... well it means a lot. They're a bunch of bronies who interview authors, play games, stream while drunk, and do silly stuff.
By now, you probably expected another installment in my Be an Author series. I was ill for a few days with a stomach bug with nothing to do and chanced (gasp, only chanced) on a story on the front page. I read 300,000 words over the next three days. This story is now my favorite of all I've read on this site, and I cannot recommend it more than to say, read it. If you have read Harry Potter and you're also an SF and/or Fantasy genre reader, you cannot do better to spend

It’s a very, very good anime. So good that I’m reviving this blog series I haven’t used in… six years? Wow, I’ve been here a while. As for the show, I just rewatched it - but dubbed this time - since the blu ray is now out. If I had to describe the show in one phrase, it would probably be ‘R-Rated Fullmetal Alchemist’. Jump in blind, it’ll be fun, I promise.

I am currently reading and loving Flygon's stories. (That there are only two is tragic...but! They. are. so. good! So, who cares! ; ) )
Title kinda says it all really. Before getting into it though, I can finally announce that after weeks of tearing my head out at it, I'm currently finishing up Chapter 2 of Starlings with one last sliver of a scene remaining, ready to be served to and scrutinised by my editor (me) before it gets pushed up on the site in the next couple of hours.
Hey, how's it going? Here's something I thought might be neat...instead of dropping random reviews whenever I feel like, I thought it might be a cool idea to simply condense some of my favourite stories from the past week into one highlights blog post.
(Just as a note, this is more or less me simply talking about stories I liked, and less actual critical reviews, although I'll try to do a little bit of both.)
That all said, and without any further ado, let's look at some stories!
So a few announcements.
Equestria's Changeling Queen and the Abyssal Empress Chapter 27: Hysteria and Serenity is being sent back to me from pre-readers and I'm looking it over for a Monday release. I've also slammed some words into the next few chapters and the Epilogue.
Normally I'm not very impressed by covers even when I enjoy them...
But this one was an exception.
The thumbnail is one of the dullest I've ever seen, though. Books and covers I guess, pun not intended.
Highly recommended you give it a watch despite that. It's not quite on the level of say Bad Apple, but there's still some exemplary silhouette work in this one.
