So, naturally, as soon as I update my bio to say "I think I'm going to be more of a presence around here" I go and disappear for a good 5-6 months. Well done, me.
I do still plan on finishing Princess ♥ Princess - just a couple more chapters to bring a bit of closure to it.
Final Exams are done with and I just finished watching Kamen Rider Kabuto, so now there's nothing left to distract me from working on writing the next chapters of—oh hey, what's that?

I have done ... very little today. Puttered around, did some chores, restocked the fridge. Typical weekend stuff. Going to go out and be social and see some live theater this evening, so that's nice.
But ... I find myself wondering if I somehow should have been more productive-- which is a fairly common thing for me as of late.
I know this may seem like a stupid blog Most of mine are
but it is 2 in the morning, I haven't slept in about 3 days because I have a lot of personal stuff going on, and my brain doesn't want to relax. 
I have had 1 day off in a month 
, and I have to be to work in 4 1/2 hours, need to do laundry, clean my room, take a shower, get ready, prepare food for my grandma, eat myself because I tend to forget to eat, and get a few other things
I've been super lazy/busy this week, what with work and pokemon go out in NA. I've been trying to balance catching them all and writing, which hasn't worked that well. My initial hype is dying down though, so things should pick up now. Thanks for reading...by the way, what team did you pick?
So the last couple years I've been thinking up wild new story ideas every day, which, as I understand it, is an important part of the whole "writing" thing.
But just recently I made a tremendous discovery! Writing itself is integral to "writing" who'd thunk it?
SJNG is not dead, but like my other Halo crossover Imperial Equestria it's been on ice for about...half the time of the latter.
For the first time, I have submitted a piece of fiction to a publisher in the hopes of them rewarding me with money.
We'll see if they like it.

I'm sooooo close to finishing a story, but I've just been procrastinating on writing the ending! 
Man, I forgot how much I always struggled with finishing stories. I'm almost done, though, I promise.
Anyway, since I don't like being a faceless blob on the internet, have a picture of my weird, makeup-less face. My hair looks long in it for some reason but it's actually barely past my chin (I need a haircut...).
So, since I have to have something to do instead of housework and writing that I need to get done and Steam is broken for me right now, I'm doing Minecraft again.
Survival Single Player, because I'm so lonely.
Anyways, I started a new map and got pretty lucky — two desert temples and three desert villages, all in the same desert.
I did art! My original plan for this was to give it to the writeoff... which by now is two writeoffs ago. But I procrastinated. A lot.
I did, however, finish it about 4 days after the submission period ended, but then I procrastinated even more with taking pictures of it. But anyway, picture after the break.
Alrighty, I'll devote that to getting Electronic Swing written. Wish me luck fellas! I'm gonna need it as I've been on and off with this one since mid 2016. Boy am I the worst when it comes to leaving y'all in limbo!

It's been six months since the last update!?
Yeah... It has. I don't know where the time has gone.
When I started writing Fallen Canterlot I told myself I would try for a new chapter every 2-3 weeks, and I was able to keep that going. But then I got a job. Now it's 2 years later and the story isn't even half way done.
Yeahhh, that Shining Interlude kind of spawned into something more monstrous than I intended. I'm at 8k words at the moment and am still adding more. I'll go into more detail as an author's note with the chapter (whenever it's done) but my main issue is that I forgot that I'm dealing with a younger Shining and he shouldn't be a Captain yet. So in order for me to not retcon that little bit or make Shining a helluva lot older than Twilight, I had to re-structure the entire Royal Guard to fit
So, I currently have 10 Google Doc tabs open.
One is the first part of a you-insert clop thing I'm doing for lulz.
One is clop interrupted by Slice of Life featuring Twilight's parents.
One is Pinkie sad/dark about the mirror pool (yes, I like Too Many Pinkie Pies too much).
One is Soarin/Spitfire clop in an unhealthy relationship.
One is Rarity/Fluttershy futa clop.
One is me turning cosmic horror into a stupid gag again.

A little earlier than usual, but with the new Season I figured people would be more likely to read this stuff if it's farther away from new releases. Let me start off by saying that, yes, I did catch the fact that episode 100 aired, and I got a spoiler through a DA group that the next episode was Spike-centered and involved him as a princess, somehow. Don't know the whole story, don't care, waiting for August as usual.
Anyway, on to last month's stated goals:
