Read It Now Reviews #62 – What is Missing, What is Lost; Babel; You Can’t C Me; The Most Annoying Infestation; Spring Cleaning · 12:22am Nov 15th, 2015

Sorry for my relative silence this week – I entered into the last writeoff, then read some more writeoff stories, and spent a lot of time writing stories that I didn’t end up feeling quite happy with, and am going to have to heavily revise.

However, I did finally hit on a revision I did like, so I published another story this week!

Read It Later Reviews #31 – Hello, My Name Is; The Great and Showerful Trixie; Living Forever; Aftershock; Splinter Cell; Something Like Laughter · 9:50pm Sep 21st, 2015

One other interesting aspect of the Royal Guard queue is that it encourages me to read stories I’d been putting off reading; if a story I’ve been putting off reading ends up on the list, I’ll frequently end up checking it out to see what I’ve been missing. A number of today’s stories came up in this very way.

Today’s stories:

Hello, My Name Is by LoyalLiar
The Great and Showerful Trixie by Pascoite
Living Forever by Whateverdudezb

Recommended Story Reviews #7 – The Treaty, Intern, Rarity Loses Her Virginity in a Poker Game, Ponies and Throwing Knives, The Gift that Keeps on Giving · 9:21pm Jan 20th, 2016

It has been a while since I wrote one of these. I had been planning to put this out before Christmas, but I ended up procrastinating too much on it, and didn’t get the last two stories reviewed until last night, when I was, ironically, procrastinating on doing something else.

Clearly, the real secret to productivity is to make it so that you loop your procrastination around to the point where you are always getting stuff done.

Read It Later Reviews #21 – Forever and Again, Where the Heart Is, Happily Ever After, The Day of the Million Billion Octavias, Swan Lake · 6:19pm Jul 17th, 2015

Apologies for my laxity in posting this week; I spent a great deal of time twisting myself in knots over what to work on next, and thus ended up not accomplishing much of anything until yesterday, when I simply decided to go ahead with whatever struck me next.

Consequently, I polished up and published a writeoff story:

As He Lay Dying

Read It Now Reviews #77 – Displacement, Surrogate, Completely Safe in the Reference Section, The Hays Code, When the Moth Loved the Flame · 9:58pm May 11th, 2016

Two days until the start of Everfree Northwest, but I leave for the Emerald City tomorrow. If any of you are going to be there and want to meet up, send me a PM and I’ll give you some contact information; I don’t have a smart phone, so the most reliable way of contacting me while I’m wandering around the convention is likely to be an actual, honest-to-god phone call.

I know, shocking.
