I didn't expect to publish sixty stories on this site when I first joined. I certainly didn't expect this to be my sixtieth. But inspiration struck and had backup from the Time Action Glory Challenge. This resulted.

Hey, everyone, just wanted to give you all a slight warning. Unfortunately, Foundations of Equality simply isn't giving me any ideas. I've reached a block in my writing, and I continually look back to the past story (EEE) and see all the mistakes I made and getting mad over them. So, here's the current plan:

So, I wasn't feeling quite myself this morning. Starting off on a bad note at 7 in the morning really messed with my head. I guess Friday 13th really is unlucky. I'm sorry for worrying you guys. It's hard staying sane and happy when no one seems to understand you, yet expects so much from you. I had wanted to release a new Harmony Gems chapter today, but it may come out late. But I'm hoping to release it either later tonight or really early tomorrow.

I honestly can't summon the will to continue writing it. I plan on continuing it at some point, but it's getting shelved.

For now, I think I will work on some one-shots and short stories. I was ambitious with Night Skies, but I lack the skill to pull it off. So until I feel I can do the story justice, it stays on hiatus.

Well, I hoped to get a lot done after school ended, and I have, but I do get interruptions.

Thankfully, they are usually fun, like taking apart an old computer that's broken, using parts from mentioned computer to make something functional, or spending all day at robotics doing team building and learning new skills for the next season.

Regardless, I still said that I'd catch up, and I am sorry. I do hope to catch up soon; I'm just not sure how soon it'll be.

I don’t know quite how to say this, so I’ll just put it bluntly. I’m not going to be finishing Bricks in the Wall. I’m so completely over it at this point.

I think this is the only conclusion I can see happening. I’ve been mulling it over for a while now, and I have to admit to myself that I’m never going to get it done. It’s never going to happen, no matter how many times I say I’m actually going to work on it and try to finish it.
