Hello! It's been a good long while since I've posted here, lest any of you seen any activity from me. To put it as you may know, I am in the military. And on top of that - submarines. Not much time to do things when you go out for months at a time without any sort of internet connection. So, how have ya'll been? Any questions about anything or want to strike up a conversation?
Decided to give you guys a little sneak peek at a story I'm working on.

I was thinking earlier about Military In Equestria fanfics
First off, thank you all who commented on my last blog post when I was feeling rather annoyed and exasperated. It was much appreciated and I will be replying to you individually later tonight. But without ado, let's get this guide started!
Who would guess when you get a bit of dirt into military issued coffee it almost tastes the same...This is a thing that happened.
Honor vs Orders is set early on in Iron's career. He is a Master Sargent in the Equestrian Army and his unit is helping the Empress of the Gryphon Empire to put down a revolt.
Hey guys, wanted to hi-light an artist who is pretty cool, who could also use a bit of a helping hand. Buckwiser does some really amazing art ESPECIALLY for you military inclined folk (which I very much appreciate). I'm personally more inclined to the traditional art, but the digital art is pretty frickin great too.
At this point, I'm sure many of you have stopped paying attention to anything I say. I'm sure a lot of you have given up on my writing, and I don't blame you for that. I've given up a bit, myself, actually. Life has its ways of screwing with your plans.
Okay I might need a bit of help here.
I have four armed forces to give name to.
And by forces I mean the Ground Armies, as these are not part of the old military but a new military force of ground troops set up to invade another nation. While the griffins' army has yet to be named while their navy has.
The Equestrian Army
The Horadrim Army
The Griffin Army
A name for the Unified forces of Equestria and Horadrim. A name that fits these two nations' allied forces.
Introduction
One question which suggests itself is the degree to which the Ponies, and specifically the Ponies of Equestria, are peaceful. To answer this question, we have to compare the Ponies of Equestria to the Humans of America, and then consider the ways in which different biology and culture affect the outcome.
I. Humans
It's 7 PM. I'm in my hotel room. My family is gone, but I'll see them tomorrow. Tomorrow is the day I pledge my life to my country and leave my old life behind. I'll be AWOL for about 10 weeks. My only hope regarding ponies is that this site still exists by the time I return.
Hopefully, when I return, I will be able to get my feet under me and start writing again. But, what can I say but, the Lord works in mysterious ways.
I'm looking for anybody who would be willing to edit/pre-read one of my stories(Which due to my cleared schedule will(Hopefully) be released later today)
I'm also looking for people who have knowledge into military weapons and tactics.

Three day weekends are always the best. My mother got out of the hospital this most recent Wednesday, and so I've been spending this weekend hanging around with her and helping her get use to the lifestyle that comes with a loss of limb. She's been staying with me and will probably stay longer than planned, which I kind of expected.
