Hey, guys and gals. I know it's been a while since I mentioned anything in this space about the next chapter of Greater Lights: Adaptation. I just wanted to let you know that I've made a fair bit of progress in the last week or so. I've finished the first scene, and I just started on the second. There's only two scenes in this chapter, so it won't be too much longer before it gets published. I kind of doubt I'll be able to get it done in the 22 hours and change I have left in October,

A few months ago I met Joey O - one of the creators of a Youtube series called Pony Meets World - at Cider Con. PMW is a comedic series with a story that integrates the MLP characters into the real world. It's currently working on its 2nd season and I find it to be very funny and quite creative with how they go about things.

So, seeing as I'm currently living in Dallas for a contract job, and Nightmare Nights Dallas is only about 45 minutes away from here, and less than 15 from the job site, I will be in attendance. This is, surprisingly, the first time I've ever been to a convention on a non-professional basis, so it's all going to be new for me.
My father introduced me to this series by Screen Rant, and I love these guys' videos.
Me, my mother, aunt and step-uncle have recently went to the crematorium to give my dad his final goodbye before his body is cremated. Remember that youtube series I've been involved in, Pony Meets World? Well, one of the creators - Joey-O - is in super need of some fandom love. A few weeks ago he was diagnosed with cancer and underwent surgery. He's out of the hospital now but going through chemo. He is a very nice person and any prayers or good vibes you could shoot his way (and to his crew and his family in general) I'm sure would be appreciated.

An odd looking alicorn pops into existence in a rather bland, not to mention messy, looking room. A rack of training swords hangs on one wall, next to a futon mat that is rolled out on the floor, a tatty pile of blankets half balled up on top of it, along with some old, flattened pillows.
