Android and Mac OS X are both based on Linux.

Bill Gates was once a well-known hater of open source software. That was back when it took weeks of hand-coded programs to equal a decent salary. Times have changed, and now Microsoft is pretty much kissing up to Linux and a buttload of other Open Source Software vendors.

The Pentium 4 is quite well known for overheating, so Intel dumped the lineup, and used the Pentium 3 designs to create the Core brand.

Dogs evolved from wolves.

An experiment was carried out on foxes to recreate the domestication of wolves. The end result were foxes that acted like puppies.

Not a fact for sure, but from what I can tell, most cats seem to have an ingrained hatred for all things, living and nonliving.

Dogs make very good burgler alarms, considering just how little it takes to set them off barking.

It's fine to put Walmart goldfish in cold water. They're perfectly fine with it.

USB add-on cards using VIA chipsets are notorious for causing older systems to hang or crash upon boot. Hardware enthusiasts, (myself included) would recommend using either any integrated USB chipset available on-board, or, if USB 2.0 is desired, use a card with an NEC chipset.

USB includes a "legacy mode" that allows for newer devices to be detected by older software.
