Well, since Bad Horse didn’t provide any story prompts today, it’s time for something based on popular demand (by which I mean it edged out another blog by a vote.) Here’s my take on the matter of pony sexuality and the bizarre multidimensional creature known as the Linseed Scale. I hope you like it, because this is probably the closest I’m ever going to come to writing clop.

Sunday, December 16, 2018: Four Months and Change after BronyCon 2018
To most of Equestria, the Bene Sediment are just one more eccentricity in the culture of rock farmers, a peculiar priesthood that propitiates the spirits of metals and minerals to provide bountiful harvests. And for most ponies, their knowledge of them, if they’ve even heard of them, ends there.
If you've read at least a couple of Unhinged entries, I would be much obliged if you'd consider taking a moment to provide some feedback.
Stay Determined - This one was written for FanOfMostEverything's Imposing Sovereigns contest. But that is not why I am promoting it. I'm promoting it because it is a really clever piece of fiction. This has to do with the time loop within a time loop. Though I do believe it should have a Slice of Life tag, it's up for debate.
Well, this wasn't supposed to take this long. In any case, you may have noticed a theme with my last three stories. This was intentional.
I have a possibly uncomfortable question for all of you:

This is a blog I've been meaning to write for quite some time, as you may have gathered from the story tag. It's an explanation for my choices when associating the Elements of Harmony with the colors of card game magic. If you have no interest in me connecting Equestrian thaumology and Magic color philosophy (or how my thought process generally runs when planning a crossover,) then I'll see you next week. Okay, a lot obsessive. I'm working on my first serious (though still partially a comedy) story in a hot fucking minute, and it's basically six thousand words of Trixie and Starlight talking to each other (and Twilight at the end)
I've always struggled with writing characters accurately. They tend to talk more like I do. For example, Starlight says "I mean" like six or seven times. She does say that phrase at least once from a preliminary exploration, but I need to go deeper.

Ideally, all conflicts Equestria faces can be solved through the careful application of diplomacy and rainbow lasers. But even in magical lands of pastel ponies, ideals can fall short of reality. Enter the Royal Arsenal.
Well, damn. This is a long one.
So it turns out I made it to Everfree Northwest 2023 after all -- well, most of it. I did have to miss a big chunk of Saturday, unfortunately, and some of Friday evening. But I got to see almost all the panels I was most excited for, got to do the big activities that I was itching to do, and got to meet (or reunite) with so many members of our lovely fanfic community!
Striking while the iron is ice cold on this one, but Djinn, Jack, and Cider getting featured in Equestria Daily’s Applejack Day fic roundup yesterday gave me the impetus to finally finish this. Or at least get it to a point where I’m happy posting it. Time for a bit more from the magical land of Siderea…
I’d say that this blog won’t be political, but that isn’t strictly true. It is, however, the fun kind of political. Namely, the one that doesn’t actually express opinions and is just thinking too much about Equestria through the implications of pop culture references.
Wow, it has been a while since I posted a review set.
I’ve actually been sitting on most of this review set for almost a month for no good reason. I’ve read a few stories here and there, but I’ve been trying to convince myself that I was going to get my next story done Soon, and thus should be working on that. I’ve also been somewhat avoiding the site because I managed to fall behind on season 7, having not yet watched a single episode from it.
