Apologies for not having the chapter out this past weekend as I hoped. Unfortunately, work picked up big time last week, requiring me to work extra hours, and the new chapter(s) of C&C I was working with fell by the wayside for a bit while I concentrated on my day job. I accidentally posted the in-progress draft of my new C&C chapter directly to the story, overwriting Chapter 37 with it. It was up for about half an hour before I noticed, so I apologize to anybody who saw it and ended up very confused or thought it was unfinished (because it was). But the symptoms didn’t match, as even though I was shortly running a temperature, I had no trouble breathing, my coughing was productive, and I kept my sense of smell. Well, I've been a busy boi. In the past week, I have written a whopping 16,000 words on both the main and side story, though mostly the side story. I've worked on two chapters for that, with a brand new one completed at 11k words. Though at that length, there's a good chance I'm going to break it in two, and then turn what it describes into a three-chapter arc. That would give me no less than five finished side story chapters, and put us on track for a Memorial Day weekend (late May) publish

I hate calling those two latest Eros chapters an ordeal, but they were at times simply for much I was trying to do and how much I wanted to include, both in terms of sex and worldbuilding. Pun sadly intended. I started writing a new Midnight Rising chapter on Saturday, and so far it’s not been a struggle at all, with over 5600 words already down on it. But then again, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, given it involves a race near and dear to my writer heart—the griffons. You’ll get to see Midnight as she educates herself on the Kingdom and griffon anatomy along with their rather unique concepts of sensuality, with perhaps a minor assist from Juniper Neptune.
