With the announcement of Cyberpunk Contest winners I can finally talk about my experience judging a contest with a material prize (no insult to the Sunset X Villain contests of course).
It was, in all honesty, a really fun time that I'd love to repeat in the future. Working in a team, seeing the vibrant multitude of stories, the sheer amount of angles taken...
Well it's the 16th of May and we are drawing closer and closer to Jun 1st, so I figured that it would be good to give you all a reminder for the Cyberpunk Equestria Story Contest.
Cyberpunk Equestria Story Contest
So far there are only 3 stories in the contest folder. I do hope there will be more in the future. 
CyberPone's ending has left me with a weird gambit of emotions, but mostly I feel satisfied with this. After all the discord following the original I didn't know if I could make an finale that could wrap up the story and plot from before without destroy the first fic. I think I found that path. Thanks to everyone involved in the creation of >System Reset_. It was one helluva a ride.
...And they are bringing me pause.
Mainly because of what I'm reading about bugs. They are noticeable, and everywhere. From T-poses, to AI enemies being completely unaware of you, to elevators not working, requiring rebooting the game to hope it works, to full on crashes. I'm reading that a very generous autosave mechanic keeps it from being game-breaking.

Yep, you read the title right, I am considering hosting a cyberpunk story contest in this group.
Now while I can't judge (I just don't have the time) for the contest, I can organize it and fetch some prizes (I can probably commission an artist to do some art pieces for the winners... So long as it isn't too spendy).
The question is what theme should this contest have (aside from being a cyberpunk story)?
Hello everyone and I'm glad that you're all back for the Question of the Week.
I'm still working on the Neo Somnambula concept and as seen in many cyberpunk stories, cybernetic augmentation is a major(ish) element. Now while Rich-Corp as well as Flim Flam Industries are planned manufacturers of such augmentations, I feel that there should at least be a few other corporations responsible for making cybernetics.
It is October and thus we draw closer to Halloween (Nightmare Night) and with it we have a fun, brand new story contest for you all to participate in.

Well, thankfully I only have to work two more days and then the Winter Shutdown kicks in and I don't have to work until the 2nd next year.
That means I should be able to put some more work into Act 3 of my Neo Somnambula story. I'm super excited to share some of the progress on the story.
