LOVELY FAREWELL: IYGALL AMA~ · 6:54pm Dec 1st, 2017

* Ask Me Anything, not American Music Awards (like I thought it meant up until a few months ago). :twilightblush:

I didn't want to announce it until I was absolutely sure it'd fit into my schedule, but the IYGALL finale will drop at about 6 or so tomorrow night. Since most of the plot points have already been resolved, it'll be a bit more of an epilogue-type episode with some surprises along the way.

Oceans Made of Words! · 6:26pm Apr 12th, 2016

In the past week I have made breakthroughs in terms of writing that really make me happy. In the last ten-ish days, I think I wrote 13,000 words, which if you ask me is hell of a lot of words. Where do they come from? Beats me with a stick! And what is to top it all off, I think these sections will really rock you! They are really punchy! I've made worlds of improvement in writing in the past year. I feel like I am starting to get the hang of pulling on those writing energies out of the aether.

Firstly, a huge thank you to all 1,800 folks who've decided I'm worth paying attention to over the years. I know they aren't all still active, but it's still gratifying. Now, read on for some creepy-cool pony news. (And I think I beat Equestria Daily to the scoop!)

Audience Participation, and 'Verse Canon Shorts · 11:58pm Jun 22nd, 2016

Since today had just a short intermission and the footnote update, here's a little bit of audience participation for Friendship is Sufficiently Advanced. At some point as time passes - and we may well be approaching Just for Sidekicks in the timeline - our plucky protagonist is going to want to disassemble something to get a nice close-up look at what principles Equestrian technology tends to run on.

Open Pony · 7:23pm Jun 4th, 2018

Before I found Fimfiction, I had a tumblr audience participation graphic novel (like Homestuck).

A silly example from the story.

For years I've been planning to bring the story here as an audience participation story, but I have concerns.

Being a Better Writer: Hard and Soft Hooks · 9:11pm Jul 27th, 2020

Hello again readers! Once again, I must apologize somewhat for the lateness of this post. I found myself sleeping quite late once more. Personally, I’m speculating is has something to do with the healing of the ribs. Maybe it means they’re healing quickly.

Meet The Mares: Sunny Rays · 2:27am Feb 22nd, 2022

There’s only so much that can go into a story, especially one with as many characters as 16 has. So I’m opening the floor to asking these characters questions. Post your reply with any questions you have and Sunny Rays will be happy to answer them (I’ll be editing this blog to add those questions). Sweetie Swirl is our last remaining pony and will have her interview posted when her chapter is done.

Interview subject #15: Sunny Rays

Just Found Out... · 2:16am Sep 30th, 2016

I just found out that some dude reviewed one of my stories, The Problem With Genie Magic. This is actually the third story of mine he's reviewed, going all the way back to April 4th (he also reviewed The Alicorn Curse and Whatever Happened To Starswirl the Bearded?) He wasn't exactly impressed. Granted, he didn't bash the stories, and I've never said no to constructive criticism, but it kinda threw me for a loop that he singled out those three. Each of them has their own sense of humor, and he

Question Time Again! · 3:32am Jul 6th, 2016

Before I release the new set of parts, I figured that since the questioning thing worked well last time, that I'd ask another. This time, it has more to do with one of the major themes of the story: the theatre. For those theatregoers who may be reading this series, I really hope that I haven't messed up the way things work on set too much, but know that it doesn't work exactly like the Earth system: after all, this is still Equestria. (I have yet to find an IRL equivalent to the Bridleway

Opinions needed for potential novel. · 12:41am Aug 18th, 2017

I have in mind an idea for a novel wherein, basically, two people, male and female, end up in a new world. The female becomes afflicted with something that'll cause her to hate the male if she stays in his presence for extended periods of time, eventually even potentially driving her to homicidal rage. So they have to be kept apart until said affliction wears off. However, there's just one thing.

They're both children.

AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION: Animation Inspiration Oneshots! · 6:18pm Jun 17th, 2018

Anyone who knows me knows that I'm huge into animated stuff, and MLP is only the tip of the iceberg. And, every once in a while, certain series/movies fire up a creative spark inside me. Problem is, I'm on my third animation-inspired fic idea after seeing Incredibles 2, and I frankly have no clue which one to write. This is where you come in!
