Welcome to another edition of Read It Later Reviews. Today, I’ve got three stories that I had read previously, plus a story from a writer I had never encountered the works of on previous occasion and a Horse Voice story I hadn’t yet read.
Let’s be honest Nightmare Moon is a pretty cool pony. However there is quite the lack of fanfics I feel about her, especially now since she was the very first villian in the series and never really showed up again or was talked about much, but I haven’t watched the show since 2017 so I might be wrong.
Yes I know I dont get along with everyone so the title is a bit hypocritical
But I also know that lots of us are going through really rough spots in life
And I believe that during this festive season, maybe we could all put our differences and get along, at least until the end of this month.
I'm sorry for the arguments I've caused, but I still want all of us to be... neighbors

So, thanks to things happening rapidly all at once I went from needing to make one blog post to probably wanting to make three, so I had a brilliant idea-
Combine all the topics which will be of wildly different levels of interest to different people into one confusing mess!
Part 1: Intricate Disguise and There's Really No Way To Be Funny About This
Good news? Well, I sure got a nice big pile of likes! We're not even twenty-four hours into this thing and it's hit 34 likes. That's pretty decent! Far short of the feature box but not bad. A Gentleman's Price didn't feature on launch either and this story outpaced that one which only managed 32 likes over 24 hours.

Okay, so...I’ve gone over it a couple of times and I was wondering if I should include a few good points.
I’ve already explained that the casting is misplaced and underutilised so I can’t include that.

the most recent one I saw was the Cutie Mark Crusaders getting their cutie marks.
I am well aware I missed the episode with Pinkie Pie, Shining Armor and Cadence, and today was the episode in which we finally meet Pinkie's family. Which I haven't seen either.
Cadence is best Princess.
Cadence is also very frustrating to be a fan of sometimes.
I absolutely loved her appearance in this most recent episode, displaying a great deal of competence and maturity despite being ultimately unable to stop Spike's downward spiral. Honestly, she's half the reason I enjoyed it so much.
BUT.

You're probably wondering why I told you to take a breath. Or you probably skimmed up to this point. Whatever.

But here I am, Civviq Writer. I am still alive! My time - and drive - have just been dissolved by the exams. They still are being dissolved, by the way. But I'm doing fine. To be honest, I haven't been writing much, and if anything it's mostly for myself, for practice. I think I can say that I have improved a bit.
I feel like a lot of people i know involved in the MLP fandom have, at some point or another, stopped watching the show itself. Doubtless they have reasons, good reasons. I think i've asked a few of them why, and they've told me; and at some point i forgot. And that's a bit of a shame, because i might have to start asking them again, tracing patterns, finding connections.

... Another year has been spent on this fun little site... CAN’T WAIT FOR MORE!
That’s right. Though the series has ended, and the fandom has waned, I’m going to stick around through the thick of it (and hope that the inbetween comedy series and Gen 5 is a worthy follow-up to FiM), and continue to write and produce new stories and chapters.
In fact, I may have a chapter or two ready by the time Hearth’s Warming/Christmas rolls on in. No promises, though.
