I think it's safe to say at this point that King Sombra's dead for good, so I can release my additional thoughts on his Season 9 role now.

Tis the winner's cerimony of the first ever, OCHG tournament! I can not be any happier than I am now to reveal the winner of the Games. Before we announce who the winner is, let's do a short recap.
Well, even though I ranked every single episode in order from all 6 seasons, which you then should be able to understand my ranking of season 6's episodes, I still got requests to do season 6 on its own. Well, mainly from just one person, since sadly no one seems to care about my rankings or thoughts, but I'll go ahead and do it anyway. Here are my rankings of all the episodes from season 6 (in my opinion the best season of MLP thus far) from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic:
Again, since Rollercoaster of Friendship was released in the middle of Season 8, might as well rank it on the same blog.

So, with the help of a program called Preference Revealer, I have ranked all 143 episodes spanning across all six seasons of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. Now let me make it clear that these are MY OPINIONS and if anyone who reads this disagrees with my choices (which is definitely likely), then good for you and I'm glad you were able to get something out of episodes I either didn't care for or hated, just like I got something out of episodes YOU didn't care for or hated. Simple.

I should probably write something commemorating this momentous occasion, but despite only a few months passing since I published it, I can remember literally nothing about the writing process, or about what was going through my head as I wrote it. So, if you're coming here for some kind of insightful peek behind the curtain, you're going to be disappointed. If you're hoping for a victory lap, then you will also be disappointed.

Single downvote knocks story out of the top 1000.
This upvote/downvote system is brutal man. Although it makes sense, there are a LOT of stories on this site.
This means there's a lot of stories that could be, and are currently in the top 1000 though~! I know I haven't read them all, so it actually makes me a bit excited to pick up a new fic~
I do know I've read most of the ROMANCE OOOOOOOOOONES!!! I HAVE A HUNGER AND I AM STARVING-
It's hard to believe that another season has come and gone. The days of 2011 when I sat up all night reading The Empty Room while listening to new(!) tracks from Not A Clever Pony... Let me tell you, those days have never felt so close, yet so far away. A lot has changed since then, within the show, within the fandom, and within my personal life.
