It's ironic that My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic would end on this day, two days and nine years after it was released, closing the story of Twilight Sparkle and the Mane Six. Many thanks to the cast and creators for giving us an awesome show with many great lessons about friendship!

Sorry to those of you who have been messaging me with commissions and stuff If I've seemed scattered. Rough week doesn't even begin to describe this week.
Well...
At around midnight, I finally sat down with my pony watching buddy. We had, each of our own accord and independent of one another, dressed fancy with some pony swag attached. We also each brought our favorite plushies to have and to hold (his, a Build a Bear Rarity, mine was a Critter Corral Sunset Shimmer). We watched it more or less in straight shot, occasionally pausing to laugh or crack jokes as was our habit.
... and it was good.
Real good.
Hello again. Trying to get back into the swing of regular reading and stuff, since I'm out of practice. Last time I had finished two short stories, both okay and worth a look if they were of the sort that tickles your fancy. Today we have two more, also hopefully good. First up is the highest rated story in the Peace category of the contest, so that's pretty exciting, and then a story about Luna, and everybody likes Luna.

Merry Christmas everyone! It's that most wonderful time of the year once again, and in keeping with the holiday spirit I decided that I'd make another worldbuilding post today. The subject this time: a location only obliquely mentioned within the story, but nevertheless highly important within the world... the city of Reddit! Get all of that below.

I’m half-tempted to just post this link to Atop the Fourth Wall and move straight to the card designs. I’m not going to, but Linkara does do a very good of breaking down many of the comic’s failings. That said, he does it from the perspective of an outsider looking in. He’s tried Friendship is Magic and it isn’t to his taste. I respect his opinion, but there are aspects of it that elude him.
UPDATE: Situation still sucks, but we have some sort of a plan of attack now. We did realize a couple of new financial issues, but we've got a solution for them. Hopefully things'll work out soon enough...

Many years ago, I lived together with a person who called herself my "mother". She was evil and also mentally ill. A few days ago, on Thursday, I came to think about her, because I was thinking about the mistake I made in January of 2017 and how my extreme reaction there must have been because of a mental illness.
The first 10 days of the year were rather terrible. New Year's Eve was still okay, compared to the next ten days. I had lunch and dinner and I watched a few movies while awaiting the new year; "Spirited Away", because that's my friend's favourite movie and we watched it together a few times, and "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring", because we watched the whole trilogy together when I visited her two years ago.
