...you have to agree that this is the best thing to come out of the Star Wars prequels.
Also sorry for the absence, the last months were pretty busy (and still are).
Honestly I've been checked out on Star Wars for a long time: longer than before the new trilogy came around to sour it even further. I mean I technically still write Star Wars, though it's nothing that can be accepted by any ol' fan. For one thing, the Ssi-Ruuk are regularly represented, and another is that they're not presented as their original selves. Still a shame they're so under-utilized in the mythos, only appearing in only two or three books out of the whole EU. What a fine day that
I don't usually make these kinds of blogs detailing the death of a famous actor or person, but this is different.
I saw it last night. I'll get more in-depth (with unmarked spoilers) below the break, but short summary: it was everything I needed it to be. I can't tell you hard enough to GO SEE THIS FUCKING MOVIE before clicking the "Read More."
Star Wars was part of my childhood. Calvin & Hobbes was also part of my childhood. Both I look back to for nostalgia purposes. Let these pics bring in my epic childhood dreams (and some current, as well.)

Yup, finally saw Episode VIII. And for the most part, I liked it. There are just a few niggling bits that frustrate me.
Spoilers ahead for anyone who's managed to be slower than me.
Note: Dialog and Scenes may not be Precisely the Same in the Actual Story
IN A GALAXY FAR, FAR AWAY...
(An X-83 Twintail Starfighter flies by, heading towards a watery world surrounded by a giant ring of debris.)
EVERY GENERATION HAS ITS CHALLENGES
(TIE Predators emerge from an Imperious-class Star Destroyer.)
I saw Star Wars IIX yesterday and after consulting some of my friends who are big Star Wars fans and some who aren’t, I have some interesting feedback on it.
Spoilers below the break:
If you're looking for signs of 2021 looking up, here's one that's taken a long, long time.
SO I ran into some issues last week when finishing up Chapter 3. The Files for the Chapter and my Story Board for A Sunset Across the Galaxy were corrupted along with a bunch of other files on my computer because of an issue. I fixed said issue but because of that I had to start Chapter 3 over again from memory. The Chapter is almost done sitting at about 1,000 words right now, so it should be ready for editing and posting by friday.
*puts stormtrooper eraser on it*
am i a cool kid who breaks the rules now??
There is no path in front of you but the one you make for yourself...
I finally managed to get a copy of Rise of Skywalker on Blu-ray. After months of avoiding spoilers in trying my best to not glean any important story details besides the obvious, it is time.
I'll let you guys know what my thoughts are about it once I'm done.
I'm really sorry for not posting or updating you all in a while, I've been dealing with a lot of real life work which has been kickin' me down. Rest assured I'm still working to make sure I get some more chapters updated for Shattered's variant of Everfree and Star Wars, I am not dead. I still need to try and make a new one-shot of somethin', anything really just to show I'm not dead, but we'll get there soon.
Well, today was the first day of writing my new chapter!
And there is good news! And some bad news...
The good news is the chapter is 20% done!
The bad news is i'm sick...
Good news is so far it has not impacted my schedule, and me being at home gives me a bit more time to write, so hopefully, friday evening, it will be released as planned.
