It’s with prereaders and has topped 11k words. I’m just waiting to receive everyone’s feedback, including the commissioner before I release it. Best guess for that is Tuesday or Wednesday night. In a late addition to the story, I decided to conclude it with one final, brief section at the very end to potentially set up a sequel or side story. Suffice it to say for now, it would appear that certain beings have a natural immunity to Sunset’s memory erasure spells.

Despite not having worked on the story for a few months, my muse was with me and I punched out the chapter in record time. The full chapter draft is complete; it's just awaiting prereads before posting. A preview? I'll pass this time, but I will say this:

Or such is the plan. After struggling with it for several weeks around other writing projects, it now stands at just short of 6000 words after I finally got some momentum on it and figured out what I'm going to do with it.

Yes; it's as the title says -- there was no update for What Lies Within in the last week. The latest part's in the making, of course, but school's running me ragged now that I'm down to the last two weeks of the semester and my writing motivation has been directed at my English class since I get graded for those works and not the ones (er, one) I do here.

I'll get back to work soon, but please be patient with me until then.

The time is nigh. Five days from now, I'll kick off the publication of my Doctor Whooves stories with Allons-y. After the 15th, a new chapter will be put up every three days at noon. I really can't tell you how much work I've put into these, and I hope you all will enjoy reading them as much as I've enjoyed writing them.

They have already been received very well by my first prereader, though admittedly I wrote what he liked the most as a bit of a gift and thank-you to him. I was reviewing the draft of the first Gilda chapter this morning, and decided it needed a great deal more fleshing out, including adding names and at least brief bios of certain supporting characters, as well some extra spice in the form of additional sexiness. So that's what I'm doing, meaning you're going to be getting a bigger and hopefully better chapter out of it.

Even after I'd been doubting I could finish the new Firefly chapter and asked others for help, it turned out I didn't need it--it wasn’t easy as the tactics and battle progression were still giving me fits, but I felt my way forward and finally found the path, grinding through the remaining 3000 words of the new chapter yesterday to complete the initial draft, to good reviews along with some suggestions for enhancements and elaborations from my prereaders.
