Happy pony holiday because EVERYTHING MUST BE PONI
Dammit, Hasbro. Your ships are all wrong!
(Well, except RainbowPie. Pink goes with everything.)
This is just to give you guys a few updates on my progress and life in general.
Work has been really tough lately, my contracted hours have been extended so I am in more often, though its still not quite full time work, although the amount of overtime I pull compenartes for that. This means there has been less time to work on the story than I would like, but I am making do.
Reposted because I forgot to add the link... again...
Well, kinda. Not necessarily me, but a good friend of mine.
Okay, I have finished the first draft of the next chapter of Family, it took me long enough *sigh* but this is what happens when you move house and things get all packed, unpacked, lost and generally chaotic.
In other news, I have started a smaller fiction project; a Zootopia crossover fiction with The Flash.
I.....think the writing is good. However, my preferences for crossovers do not lend themselves into putting characters in the shoes of another...I am not a huge fan of having Twilight take Edward's job.
Hey guys,
After much thought, I've decided it would be best to leave fimfiction. Quick and simple as that. I thank everyone who has decided to help me out and those that have read my stories, you guys are the real mvp's.
On that note, I bide thee all farewell.
S.G.
OR AM I?!
Been a while, but finally, there is a new Bootfic (no, I'm not the one who started calling them that). It's concept and execution is like something from my earlier days of making fanfics, but the style itself is more modern. Bit of a fusion. This may have been done before, but oh well. I hope you enjoy...
I go into every story hoping for something that will be worth commenting at (great) length on. Unfortunately, not everything warrants prolonged critiquing. Here is a selection of reviews/critiques, in two sentences or less.
I've tried four or five times to draft a new blog post today, and I lost each one to a random Chromebook restart. So I'm giving up, here's the bullet-points version:
Really busy with school.
New internship transcribing oral histories.
Teaching an actual, weekly IRL fanfiction class (like this, but without video).
If you were expecting “Keep Calm and Flutter On,” you’ll find it here. Instead, we’re once again focusing on Spike. And once again, overcompensation is the name of the game, because in the space of two episodes, he’s apparently gone from utterly servile to as self-serving as draconically possible.
Click here for the other pictures in the set! And click here to see the artist, Dreamingnoctis', Patreon page!
Anyone who still wants to wait, turn away.
This is the collection of gifs, images and whatever else I’ve been hoarding on my user page. There were well too many to actually load them all (It works fine for me, just not anyone else unfortunately.) So! I decided to store them somewhere.
Most of these images probably won’t load for you the first, second, third, or thousandth time. Just trust me, there’s roughly a thousand or so gifs/images/whatever else here. So uh.
And so we reach the end of the Canadamantic prophecy. Well, this Canadamantic prophecy, anyway. We’ll see what else the sibyls in their Treehouse have to say later this year.
For now, though, it’s not just our northern neighbors that concern me. Time to return to Yakyakistan.
Ah, the Cutie Mark Crusaders. When a friend introduced me to the show, he described them as something of a Plot Tumor, and I can certainly see how those who watched Season 1 episodically would feel that way. We're introduced to this amazing world and six incredible mares… and then we have to sit through 22 minutes about a trio of yutzes who can't even tell what they're good at.
