I was starting to brainstorm my own G5 haunted house tale, and now you've gone and stolen my thunder! 
...Oh well, I hadn't gotten super far with it and honestly their version is better than what little I had come up with anyway. 
Back to the drawing board, then.

In all seriousness, though, you guys are awesome. I won't say that you're the reason I keep going, because I can barely even remember all of your names and I've had conversations with about half of you, but you sure are people that care about my words.

So Songbird has finally been released, with updates coming daily. At the current pace, the last chapter will be up on Tuesday. It’s a relief to finally have it out there, but the story is an exemplary example of one thing:
I hate the deep editing process. I'm sure a few folks are sick of hearing me say that.
“The author doesn’t write about us.”
“Yeah, we’ve noticed, Canvas.”
“I know...but why doesn’t she? I mean, we have story potential! I have a weird fur that takes on color—Quiet Rain is mute in a society that was known for not talking for sometime—and Mellow has...has...uh...”
“We get it, I’m not special.”
“I don’t mean it like that-“
Well. This is certainly a thing. Remember The Company We Keep? Y'know, that cheesy supernatural horror-comedy that I wrote with Cadance progressively going insane, but in style? And all the ghosts and stuff?
Just like Tomb of Magic it's finally gotten an updated and revised version, with some new dialogue and any errors - like continuity errors - fixed. Unlike TOM it didn't need any new scenes or anything, but there's about 2-4k* of words that weren't there before now.
Well, the recap from the riff on the 8th still isn't ready. Sorry about that, Ring still needs computer stuff. He HAS made the commitment to put it out the same day we put out the NEXT segment's recap, which should be in two weeks barring any more unforeseen shenanigans.
Last week's thing, though, is totes finished. Have fun with that.

Blogging about conventions is a lot harder than a lot of people make it look.
The short version that it was a pretty amazing weekend. I met lots and lots of fantastic people, gawked at a perpetually-dabbing Mare Do Well fursuit-wearer, had a drink with one of my internet besties—I didn’t like the drink, but it wasn’t about liking the drink—and overall had a fantastic time.

IN WHICH I MAKE A DECISION AND CHANGE SH!T
Now that the calendar date has officially changed in my time zone (that'd be Central Time, a.k.a. GMT-6), I feel justified to barf out another blogpost. This one has three different short topics. Here's the first:
This as the title says, is going to be short. After getting a good and helpful feedback on the story, I've finally concluded to take down Chapters 3 and Chapter 4. Don't worry, their just getting a [Redux] as I'm gonna call it. When their back up and 'fixed', they'll have that [Redux] at the end of the chapter name.
Here's some smooth jazz for you. It's a great way to end the day.
Twilight Sparkle found herself in a strange place. It was of light and shape, but not of matter. Though she could not remember where she was or how she got here, the place seemed familiar and comforting.
Out of the mist, though, came a demon. A strange, misshapen beast. Twilight took a step back at its approach.
"Who are you?" She asked. "What's happening?"
The demon then leaned in close, a pained look on its face.
