Ah'm gonna be at SAKURA-CON!
Well, just as an attendee, it's not like Ah'm crazy popular enough to be a panel host or anything silly like that.
For those wondering what that is, it's a huge anime convention in Seattle, Washington.
Some would say Ah'm crazy for going cross-country with a friend to go to a con...and they'd be right. But you guys read mah stuff, so ya know Ah'm already a few batteries short in the 24 AA pack that is life.
Happy Tuesday everyone!
Well Kiddos, I'm confirmed to be at Whinny City Ponycon in April (the venue is like 20 minutes from where I grew up and where my parents still live- I used to go to the My Little Pony Fair there). Even better, I'll be hosting a panel "Writing Pony Fanfiction: The Basics"!
If any of my dear internet followers are headed there, I'd love to meet you in person; alternatively, let me know if you have writing experience and would like to join me as a cohost of the panel!
Hey guys!
Looks like my last Spitfire x Soarin' fic bombed a little bit (sad horn noise); oh well, them's the ropes! I do, however, have a few brief updates for anyone who might be interested:
Hey everypony! Getting excited for HarmonyCon in less than a month!
If you want to go, and still want a badge, you can still purchase them in advance at harmonycon.org. Remember, Director Jim Miller, Comic Artist Tony Fleecs, and the voices of Zecora, Ocellus, and Starlight Glimmer will all be there!
For those who are attending or watching the streams, these are my seminars...
Worldbuilding 101
I remain alive, and as of June 13th am now the number of symmetries in a cube.
I will be at Trotcon.
Please contact me if you're there! (Or even if not, that's okay too.)
I might do an author party. I'll announce it with another post. Signal boost would be useful.
Greetings Fellow Readers!
THIS IS AN IMPORTANT CONVENTION POST- ALL CONVENTION-SAVVY PONIES, PAY ATTENTION
As you all know, Whinny City Pony Con 2019 is THIS WEEKEND! This is my 'hometown' con so to speak (I grew up 20 mins from the venue) and I'm so jacked that it's finally here! So, that being said, I have lots to say about attending, so if you're going or even thinking about going, here it is:
You've heard of DubCon*, now get ready for:
Yes, this exact thought really popped into my head while I was picking up prescriptions at Target today.
*Dubious Consent, for those of you who aren't degenerate monsters
Does anybody want to hear about my weekend at Dragon Con? No? Good. It wasn't bad but it was uneventful. I'd say the biggest four things I managed to do were as follows. On the first day of the convention my roommates and I went to Jalapeño Charlie's where they ran out of food and had to shut down the kitchen for a half hour. When we ate the food was good and when we left we took the elevator.
The Manehattan Project will be hosting our first-ever convention panel at Pacific PonyCon 2017 on the weekend of January 6-8, 2017 in San Diego, California!
It is only one more week until Everfree Northwest!
I've never actually been to a con before, but Xepher and Thornwing were kind enough to invite me as a community guest. I'm going to be on several panels, including:
Introducing our youngest new mascot... Bramley! A young little colt still a blank flank, yet ready for the day!
I need to send one final recap to thank y'all for your generous horsebrutality and friendship. The con was amazing and it was a joy to spend it with everypony there.
Here you can see me cosplaying as slightly less of a dork.
Bad news, my dudes. My basic setup 'how to write fanfiction' panel I submitted to Ponyville Ciderfest coming in October looks like it's been
d

Which is too bad, because I've gotten really positive feedback from my past panels on the same topic at WCPC and Trotcon.
Nothing much to announce today, folks. The one big issue I'm facing at the moment is that I have a lot of long stories (200,00+ words) coming in the next month of reading. normally this wouldn't be a problem, but with my current lack of time due to job searches and the like I am starting to think I eventually won't be able to keep up. That's not really a problem today, because I ahve all the reviews set up for the next two three weeks, but at that point I may have to consider posting review
So, at long last, I'm home! BABSCon was freaking epic and far surpassed my expectations... but also for reasons I never saw coming!
