Labor Day seems to be the sort of day for all kinds of promotions, even though that wasn't what the day was meant for in the first place. But, surprisingly, this isn't the blog post where I start ranting about holidays losing their original meanings! Instead, I'm here to offer a bit of a promotion of my own.
I'm going to be part of a panel come Bronycon, trying to determine the king of all card games pony fics! But first we need to put the bracket together. Go to this thread on the RCL group forum to nominate and vote for your favorites! Polls close July 13th, so get your picks in early!

One of those iconic starving college students (who also appears to be quite a nice person) could use a little help making rent.
Since I teach those, I can sympathize with their plight. Plus, anypony who is doing college full-time and also teaching kids about STEM part-time deserves a little boost. 
Anyone who knows my work has probably, at some point, come across my SunFlower saga which was written for the lovely and adorable Scampy. On the heels of that Scampy is now hosting a big ol' Contest with prizes and everything, and yours truly is one of the judges.

It took me a while to realize that Nailah was requesting help to pay for an emergency trip to see a dying grandmother, because they're subtle about asking for help for avoidance of imposing on others.

In case you didn't already see it, at around midnight I published a short story as an entry into the First FimFiction Feghoot Festival competition being hosted by Super Trampoline.
I don't thing it's going to come anywhere close to winning, and the only comment on it as of right now told me to "GET OFF THE STAGE!", but hey! You never know!
Steel Resolve is a nice guy who has been through some recent hardships including trying to get his wife on disability. He could use a little help if possible (link in previous sentence), even if small.
Sock Puppet's at it again, giving us another entry into my Not-A-Contest . . . and giving ponies another shot at driving Formula 1 cars. Before too long the whole F1 field will be ponies (or pony adjunct), and I for one would embrace that.
